2025 F1 Season (spoilers will be discussed)

I would agree 100%. Two very experienced (and fast) drivers will absolutely help in development.

It is official. Bottas and Perez have signed with Cadillac.
I think this is the best news for Cadillac. These are 2 very experienced drivers that have driven for multiple teams. This will be very interesting.

Also, I heard the Cadillac has announced that their engine will not be ready until 2029 (one year later than expected).

Yay.

As things stand, it looks like showers could again be on the cards for this year’s visit to the Dutch track, with periods of rainfall currently forecast during all three days of action for Round 15 on the calendar.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 30 – FP3 AND QUALIFYING
Conditions: Another weather front expected to cross the region. Still cloudy and showery at times. 5-15mm of rain expected. Sustained southerly wind. FP3: 16°C // Q: 18°C
Maximum temperature expected: 18 Celsius
Minimum temperature expected: 16 Celsius
Chance of rain: >80%

SUNDAY, AUGUST 31 – RACE
Conditions: High probability of showers, still under the influence of the low pressure area. Windy with moderate southwesterly wind. Race start: 19°C
Maximum temperature expected: 19 Celsius
Minimum temperature expected: 15 Celsius
Chance of rain: 80%

Ugh, not rain for qualifying.

Predicable qualifying with the one exception being Hadjar.

Impressive.

May this forecast from earlier today have proved to be true.

Sunday morning is set to be a rainy one, meaning any rubber laid down over Friday and Saturday is likely to be washed away.

According to the FIA, there’s a “60 per cent chance of showers coming from the south-west during race hours. Moderate SW wind in the morning, decreasing in the afternoon.”

The chance of rainfall as the race begins sits at 40 per cent, with that increasing to 60 per cent at the midway point.

Ahem...

So happy for Hadjar! He knew he was going to get a podium this year. LOL

Poor Lando.

And WTF Kimi?! Guess his chances of racing for Ferrari dipped a bit, eh? LOL

Nobody joins F1 without assuming they are going to be on the podium. It's part of the confidence/ego that drives them like most other racers.

Boring race sans rain until it wasn't.

Without Norris' blown engine, Antonelli might have gotten away with punting Leclerc out of the race.

Hadjar did a great job holding off Leclerc and improving his position to achieve a podium.

Haas had some success too which is rare as is Hamilton inexplicably going into the wall.

And wait...Aston Martin, double points finish. 10 points total! Puts them above Racing Bulls.

Hamilton's bad fortune continues.

Lewis Hamilton has been handed a five-place grid penalty for Ferrari's home race in Italy next weekend, after failing to slow under double yellow flags before the start of the Dutch Grand Prix.

That was probably the best possible race for a track that limits passing. Fun watch for sure.

I'm still hoping that Hadjar doesnt get demoted to RedBull.

Will Sainz ever catch a break in the Williams? Dude is cursed.

Haha, getting a RedBull ride has become like signing for Minardi
Wait...Minardi became Scuderia Toro Rosso, then Scuderia AlphaTauri, then now is Visa Cash App Racing Bulls F1 Team....so, perhaps...now...eh....whatever...

Interesting news from Cadillac F1. Colton Herta signed on as a Test Driver.

I also herd that Colton Herta will be racing in F2 in 2026 to get the points he needs for his Super License.

Herta's their golden boy for sure. I don't understand why not Palou.

Isn't Palou pretty happy with Honda / Indy Car? I think it would have to be a pretty hard sell for him to move to F1 right now.
