2026/2027 NFL Thread

Sooner than later the NFL will expand by adding teams from one or more continents. Most likely Berlin, London or Madrid in Europe, Mexico City, Mexico or less likely Melbourne in Australia. When that happens, the Conference names become outdated. It doesnt make sense to have a European team playing in the American Conference, though Mexico City would fit in nicely. So do the conference names change? Does the NFL change to the IFL?

Why would they do that when they already have the real football?

NFL league in Europe, remember that, was such a huge success. It lost a lot of money for the league and the NFL shut it down. So no, Throwball won’t make more money than football…the real football. It won’t happen but if it does it’ll flop just like it did before. The current NFL games overseas are a novelty and nothing more.

the europe league failed because it wasn't NFL players.

it is highly unlikely a team could survive in Europe. They will definitely keep playing games there, but I highly doubt a team moves permanently.

Tottenham (who thinks their a big club) built their toilet bowl looking stadium to replace their former ground, Shit Hart Lane, to partially entice a potential NFL franchise.

What do we think of Tottenham?
Shit!
What do we think of shit?
Tottenham!

The fact that the fields are almost identical size, means every European football stadium could be a throwball (handpig) stadium.
