Well, this should at least have 1.5x the torque. Who knows what the power would be. 47 hp sounds like an artificial target to meet Euro licensing requirements.

Oh and the 300 is not 40+ hp

Cool! The 500 version also looks kinda similar. I just learned they also have this little mini-Ducati VTR250. If only Suzuki went with that timeless look for the SFV650. (edit: in fact, I wish Ducati stuck with that look...)

300 dynoed at like 33/34rwhp, i can see it getting close to 40rwhp with mods. And it weighs 50 pounds less. So yeah i would take the 300 over this also

The 300 is pretty nice don't get me wrong. I'd prefer 400-500 though if other factors were similar. I'm sure Honda will be looking very hard at the 300 when figuring out if it can sell the 500 here.

I wonder if Yamaha and Suzuki give a shit about this market.
