95 mpg

No, I said tank of 320 miles... Many cars adjust their tank size to the mpg , so the 320 miles is the important part. If the tank empties at 320 miles for different cars.. Them you can say per tank of 320 miles ;) only $40, back to what I said.

320 miles, 19 miles a gallon = ~$70.

Is 19 miles a gallon all that rare? I don't think so. In fact, many 6 cylinders+ get that mileage.

yes, there are better alternatives for gas mileage. but why on Earth would I opt for ~32 miles per gallon, when I would still save ~$35 a week, = ~ $140 a month. plus no oil changes. plus HOV lane sticker. Plus essentially $13350 back from the govt (10k off sticker, 2500 back from down payment, 1400 rebate for installing a 240V charger in my garage)...

so, how exactly is a car that gets ~ 32miles a gallon so much better than full electric again? or even most-electric like the Volt? this is what you are arguing.

it isn't better.

Just pointing out that directly or not-you burned gasoline. No one cares.

What steering damper did you have on the bicycle?

"You rode your bike from Portland to Guatemala and back without burning gas, I'm really happy for you and I am going to let you finish, but you burned some gas indirectly."
