No, I said tank of 320 miles... Many cars adjust their tank size to the mpg , so the 320 miles is the important part. If the tank empties at 320 miles for different cars.. Them you can say per tank of 320 milesonly $40, back to what I said.
320 miles, 19 miles a gallon = ~$70.
Is 19 miles a gallon all that rare? I don't think so. In fact, many 6 cylinders+ get that mileage.
yes, there are better alternatives for gas mileage. but why on Earth would I opt for ~32 miles per gallon, when I would still save ~$35 a week, = ~ $140 a month. plus no oil changes. plus HOV lane sticker. Plus essentially $13350 back from the govt (10k off sticker, 2500 back from down payment, 1400 rebate for installing a 240V charger in my garage)...
so, how exactly is a car that gets ~ 32miles a gallon so much better than full electric again? or even most-electric like the Volt? this is what you are arguing.
