A Tale of Two (Partial) BDRs

...Monte's clutch was on its last legs and he was concerned about his bike's ability to make it back to California...
What was going on with Monte's clutch? I think I've read in a few places that it's fairly easy to consume clutches on the 701/690s. Mix that with someone like me that likes to eat clutches, and lookout! New clutch at 10k; putting another in tomorrow at 28k. :ninja:

I replaced my clutch over the winter...not sure what the prognosis was with Monte's clutch...but he was having problems getting the bike into gear, and Northern Idaho is a LONG way from home with a lot of wide open space between here and there. Plus a heatwave and wildfires; we played it safe.
