Anyone know the condition of the rider who was being checked out before the restart of this race?

He's in considerable pain but should recover just fine. Not sure how many details he'd want here.

How you healin' up dude...saw you had a brace on Sunday?

The brace is off today except for sleeping. Diagnosis is a cervical (neck) strain along with a concussion. X-rays and CT turned up nothing. Also, no contusion for which I am fortunate and thankful, considering I was lights out for a while.

I'll be back to work tomorrow. Way luckier than I am tough.

That's my pit mate....Adam Schindler afm#860

Adam sustained multiple internal injuries..He's in stable condition. Luckly his neck and spine are ok...should be out of the hospital in about a week...

glad he's going to be alright.

he wasn't the one who was looking for the steering damper was he?

Where's Adam staying? Is he talking any calls?

Get well Adam!

Talked to one of your first responders while he was trying to flush a rock out of my eye. Said you seemed fine... until you started repeating yourself.

He's up at Chico...

Vince (MegaSpaz) and Matt Randle (MotoMatthew) along with a few others are up there along with his GF and some family. If you PM those guys they'll get you connected with details and Adam.

Justin, NMP said you started out pretty clear upstairs and then got sillier, hence the concern. Tough year for you, glad you are OK. Finish healing, life will get great again.

Justin glad to here you're ok you had me worried I went looking for you then found out it was you that crashed in turn one. I was really looking forward to see you're smiling face on the grid. If you need parts ext call. See you a buttonwillow if not sooner.

Adam is stable but still in ICU up at Enloe. He's going to be ok, but will be in a lot of pain and will be in the hospital for a while. Close friends can call Jen, vince or me for specifics. He's not able to respond to calls or texts, and cant really have many visitors, but appreciates everyone's support.

Barb jumped the wall and was first on scene at Adam's crash, on her knees at his head. She talked to him the whole time, reassuring him while the crew got him turned and boarded.

wow..

I am STILL impressed at how the corner workers along with the whole staff jumps into VERY dangerous situations in the name of keeping the riders safe.
I was reviewing some of the crash footage from this weekend at Turn 5, and the corner worker was running down the blind side of the hill before the rider and bike even came to a stop, then running out in-between bikes to throw sand over something on the track. ALso, thanks for all the waters, guys!! :teeth

Adam, get your rest and heal up, buddy. I feel like we have had a special connection ever since I got into your pants at Infineon :rofl

toe caught the whole sequence. then he radiod over to me, and explained what happened... i thought it was much worse than it sounded like it ended up being.
