AFM 600SB crash

Thank you for the updates.

I've known Adam sine my second track weekend, August 2009, and am willing to help out where I can. I realize there are a lot that want to assist, so give me the word, and I'll do what I can. Oh I also get paid this Friday, and can help out with the Motel 6 Funds if needed.

For Adam, as this was a picture I remember well, trying to shake him at TH.

Heal well my friend.

Donation sent! You'd better not use it for pbr, Rick! :twofinger

I'm not the one for sad news, but this really sucks. When racing, injuries like this we never want to hear about, nor do you ever want it to happen to someone you know and respect.

Adam is a great friend to me. He's always been there to help whomever in need and he's one of the most generous jewish people I know. :)

I miss the guy a lot and just thinking of him in this condition makes me sick to my stomach.. But alas, he's a tough cookie, and I know he'll pull through 110% better than ever!

I had no idea he was Jewish, and with a last name of Schindler. :wow :rofl

Does he know how much we are asking about him?

Rick, give Adam my best. Bummed to hear about his injuries, but glad there's some improvement.

Knowing Adam, he'll think this little get off is nothing and he'll wonder what the fuss was all about.:thumbup

He's got a huge network of friends who's pulling for him; motorcycle riders and people from other stuff that he does. He's always talking about some Habitat for Humanity BS that he does, and trying to get me to go with him to go build houses at 8am saturday mornings.. What a nut...

Thanks all for the replies and updates. My own situation was good in the sense that I was discharged very quickly from Enloe Medical Center in Chico. On the other hand, the doctors and staff there are incredibly organized and seem to really have their stuff together. Their hearts are in it just as much as their minds.

IOW, if I had to be stuck somewhere, my choice would be there. I'm only hoping the best outcome for you Adam and if anyone else can contribute a $1 or $100 for (as Mechete points out) his support base and their hotel expenses, it can only be a good thing. Please think about this as you make your own riding and luxury plans!

Dropped a couple bucks in. It's not much but hopefully it'll help. Heal up fast, racer!

Hi all, just wanted to let you know that Jenn is staying with us in Chico. We are more than happy to have her here. Molly Brenner put her in touch with us. She went back to S.F. today to put in a couple of shifts at the hospital there while Adam's Mom is here from Florida.

a quick update: They got him walking today, chest tube is out, he's talking and breathing well and asking for titties, and today he got his ICU discharge orders, and going to reg floor for a couple days, and then probably rehab back in SF.

all around great news, and we're stoked. I'm sure he'll be on here soon enough.

Right on!!!

4TR has the picture suquence of what happened, and it's not too pretty. :wow

Thank you for the update.

we'll probably have a bbq when he does and you guys are welcome to come on down.

In for the BBQ Rick...I just might have to bring a flat of mexican cokes...

Jenn has been a great house guest. I'm so glad things are progressing so quickly now. She is welcome here any time.

Those are some serious injuries for that to be great news. Awesome to hear things are moving in the right direction.:thumbup:thumbup:thumbup

Adam 's BBQ sounds like an excellent idea as long as you let us bring some "sauce" for Adam. Please let us know if and when this will happen.
