Which makes total sense when you remember dogs run in packs and catching and biting a giant thing is kind of what they do, assuming the rest of the pack will bring down the rest of the big thing.

^^ Saw that vid on facebook. What a tool. He let off 3-4 rounds hella fast, barrel dipped, went through hood and into fender.

Yes, required. I never did find out what happened here. It looks like the upper plane settled into the lower plane. Positions are all wrong, they should have been side-to-side (with one plane slightly ahead of the other) and in complete visual contact at all times.

What happened?

Dan (800 jumps, many formation loads)
 
Pretty sure this is the story where one pilot landed one of the planes.
The other had to bail.
