Don't they practice those moves in some sort of rehearsal. Maybe for that play they just winged it at the last minute

Had a friend in HS who did that kind of wrestling. Another friend said to him, "everyone knows wrestling is fake" wrestler friend kicks him in the face and says "that feel fake?" Everyone but guy who got kicked in the face laughed.

Guy still wrestles to this day actually, should probably reach out to him. Doubt it's paying the bills but you never know i suppose.
 
Bouncer at a local bar does rasslin. Doesn't pay a ton of money but he has a lot of cool stories traveling the world so that's got a ton of value...
