Man, I would probably turn around and have a convo.

That was down in LA a few years back.
Car came over several lanes of traffic, crossed the DY into the express lane and almost hit the rider. Rider responded (perhaps inappropriately), car hit Jersey barrier, spun out, etc. Rider continued on his way, car that flipped had a passenger than (almost?) died.
