Anime Thread *was Naruto Shippuden!*

bleach may have a little more blood, but i think it would be better if it was darker. Ichigo is too...one dimensional. whenever he loses he gets depressed, when he wins he thinks about how lucky he was that he won. Everyone else is interesting especially his pop.

i think i read most of naruto... i couldnt wait for the anime to come out and same with death note and bleach.... i think most of the story line on deathnote and bleach gets a little boring and offtangent...

i think my absolute favorite anime of all tiem is trigun and slamdunk

i tend to like the bad guys: Aizen Sousuke and Gin Ichimaru.

Aizen with good guy facade, i never saw that coming. Thought it was Gin all along.

Gin's sarcasm is :rofl. He plays his role well, but i wonder how the hell Yamato never notice he was a badegg
 
Soi Fong is my favorite. I agree that Ichigo is too one dimensional. Im more interested in watching the characters around him grow. Did anyone else go apeshit when Rukia busted out her shikai over the last ep?

I also read the mangas for naruto so it does get more interesting.

I also downloaded death note, Im on ep 17. Does anyone know if this is a weekly show or bi-weekly show?

Death Note's schedule is pretty random. It seems like it's a weekly show but i guess people are too lazy to sub it.

To be honest I wouldn't mind watching anime on Cartoon Network but the dubbing is so bad it's painful to watch.
 
not saying there's anything wrong w/ that ;)

but the 1's that were subbing it consistently and in a timely manner host their stuff on scarywater and anything licensed gets pulled immediately so we're left w/ the other subbers who aren't quite as fast...
 
or they either change server's + change subgroup name. :shhh i understand that they're doing an unappreciated job so i dont email them a hateful letters everyweek if they dont come out with an episode. I donated to DB for doing bleach and Naruto. A few other ones too who have subbed a few anime's i liked.

i can't watch anime in english. only series i watched in it's entirety in english was cowboy bebop.

Me too.. well I also watched Full Metal Alchemist, but that was on Cartoon Network.
 
I was really not expecting him to pull out a Bankai. It looks cool, but definitely not Captain level.

I'm hoping next week will focus on Ichigo and Grimmjaw.

definitely not captain level but it's surprising. Kinda like when Renji pulled out his bankai but it was a little more obvious with him since he's been training. I kinda ruined it myself but i wikipedia'd ikkaku and it says he's stronger than most vice-captains but the reason he doesnt want to get promoted is because he wants to serve under zaraki.

Okay no Naruto Shippuden this week.. Episode 5 doesn't air until next week... then Episode 6-7 (1hour special) doesn't air until March 29th...

They must have ran out of material already, hey they've only had 2 years... ;)
