Nobody is policing your language you manipulative creep. I reject your racist worldview that skin color makes a difference. I would trust a teacher to teach any subject that he or she is qualified by how well he or she studied the subject and understands it and is able to make others understand it. Skin color or ethnicity makes no difference to me because I'm not racist.

Says the person who admires tucker carlson thats rich

All right. Let's ease up. I'm not reading a whole lot here that embodies an attitude of welcome and openness to YogaJeni. Jeni, the "creep" and insinuations of racism need to stop too. Keep in mind y'all have an ignore button. Please use it if you lack the self-control to ignore things on your own.

This is your official notice that this thread is being watched. By me.

Gee I wonder why.

Save the sass, Jordan. I'm happy to discuss this offline with you, as always. I'm just doing my job. Please don't make it more challenging for me.

You disagree that using Carlson as a Factual Source is not an endorsement of your credibility? :laughing

I do, actually. Baby, bathwater and all that. If you were to apply the same standard evenly, there would be practically no source that was "ok" to cite for everyone.

Admit it, you didn't watch the video, did you? He could have been saying that the sky is blue and you would still disagree.

Ok, let me ask you in a different way in hopes that you don't feel the need to police my language.

Fucking hilarious that you're complaining of language policing - the defining stock in trade for the woke crowd. :laughing

Who would you trust to teach a more honest account of the history of American Colonialism? A white person or an indigenous person?

Since I don't judge people by race or ethnicity, it couldn't possibly matter one bit less to me. And in the Bizarro world of the Wokeshaviks, that is racist... right?

Yeah that was purposeful. Always funny when you see people doing the thing they accuse you of, isn't it?

Ostensibly I agree with you, that it would be great if we could trust that the same version of history could be taught by anyone regardless of your skin tone or ethnic background. The reality is, I have learned some wildly different versions of the same histories once I started listening to the people who were colonized, instead of just learning history from the people who did the colonizing.

Circular argument. Links were posted to both text and video that raised or addressed several points. They were waved off, or simply ignored because of the source, therefore no points were raised. Right.

I don't think you know what circular argument is. Let's make it specific to posts I replied to. It was basically a statement that kids would be home schooled because of the evils of CRT. I don't think those are points of any kind, because it wasn't really addressed in posts themselves as to why it was evil. Maybe I missed other posts feel free to quote them.
Now separate discussion is sources. I don't think Tucker Carlson and Qannon looking channel are good sources. You do, and are free to take them seriously. I don't. One is an entertainment talking head that invites guests that will just echo what he said and then nodes his head without any critical pushback. The other well is a conspiracy channel, and as I said previously I refuse to drive views to it thus promoting it in rankings.

We'll have to agree to disagree. IMHO, nothing that comes out of Carlson's mouth is an honest word, the guy is an outrage generator and never even tries to give a good honest take on anything.

I'm sure you feel the same about some other 'ancher's', and you wouldn't be far off on some of them.

If you followed my link on his defense in court, you'll see that he himself admits that anything he says shouldn't be taken seriously.

How many others actually admit in court that 'no reasonable person' would take what they say seriously? That's a pretty strong self-indictment.

Anyways, I don't disagree with a lot of what you have to say in the KS, but this is one of those times. :ride

Oh the irony. Open challenge to you. Quote me where I was "woke" or "creep" or "gaslighting", or "male feminist".

Isn't it curious how everyone that has a public voice that happens to disagree with you and your friends here is somehow of very poor character. [according to you of course] Everyone is a grifter or a uncle Tom or a scumbag. Quite a coincidence I'd say.
I for one liked a lot what she had to say and I thank Tucker for giving me the opportunity to hear her.

At this point I cant keep track of all the gaslighting creeps around here so I am going to assume that is a honest question and answer it honestly.
I am going to teach my children exactly the opposite of what Critical Race Theory teaches [or "antiracism" as all the gaslighting wokistani creeps here call it] I am going to teach my children that they are individuals and they should evaluate every person they met on their own merit. That skin pigmentation does not define who one is or its values or its beliefs. That in America we are all equal. That seeing oneself as a victim in this society based on group identity is cowardly and manipulative. That the whole oppressor/appressed mindset that CRT is based on is on the surface about empathy but about manipulation and power in reality.

I've always found the "male feminist" type woke guys give me the creeps. Especially ones devious enough to try and gaslight you with a straight face.

I reject you evil manipulative nonsense. Terms like "BIPOC" and "own truth" is CRT jargon. I will never teach my boys that they are "bipoc" because their father is Mexican-American. They are Americans, no lesser or more than any other American.

To our credit, YogaJeni has devoted a significant portion of their fairly short post history on barf to going on the warpath against anyone who supports critical race theory. It was never clear to me that feeling welcomed here was one of the reasons they decided to engage in this community.

That said, message received. I'll do my best to keep a lid on it.

:thumbup

think one of the quickest routes to a lifetime of grinding poverty is still to become a young single mother ... so the homelessness industry has that going for us.

ime, it is always logical to hook one’s craven avarice to a biological imperative—whenever possible—in order to avoid irrelevance for as long as one can ...

Thank you. :) I'm not blind to YJ's posting habits either. As motorcycle enthusiasts, many of us mods find it curious that someone would hop right into the middle of a political fray with a bunch of people they don't know on a motorcycle forum. One would think that they'd want to discuss bikes, riding, and meeting new people who share a passion--want to make friends, not enemies--particularly if I were new to the group. But hey, I'm funny like that.

Not new: HI Barfers!

Good find! that at least makes a little more sense why someone from out of the bay area created an account here.

Not that locality should be a requirement. Most of us old-schoolers are scattered all over, and this is one of the better and more welcoming MC communities on the web, so as long as everyone's cool, everyone's cool.
