Your morning show was beyond irresponsible, it was pure negligence. As a daily commuter on a motorcycle I am absolutely appalled by the words of your hosts. Clearly your hosts do not understand that the Bay Area is one of, if not the largest motorcyclist community in America. Furthermore, your hosts do not have an intelligent grasp of lane sharing’s legality and history. Your radio show’s negligence is already the topic of the morning in the Bay Area Riders Forum with nearly 15,000 members alone as well as many other groups/forums. Trust me; this isn’t one of those scenarios where any publicity is good publicity. I doubt you will be seeing further revenue from anything remotely motorcycle related unless you take action immediately.
1. Take the hosts responsible off the air permanently
2. Devote your next morning show to the legality and benefits of lane sharing while commuting on a motorcycle
3. Provide significant airtime each morning promoting rider awareness including lane sharing during the commute hours
Your timely response will go a long way in mending relations with motorcyclists and show that your station is not represented by your AM hosts, but a responsible member of this community. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Perhaps we need a sticky thread with a clear set of actionably items for members -
ie contact 105 and let all vendors know 105 is not motorcycle friendly etc
