Anyone swear by Costco gas?

I've never seen a motorcycle at a Costco gas station a day in my life. I rarely ever see sports cars there for that matter. It's generally just your everyday commuter crowd. I know a lot of people can be pretty brand loyal, despite a lack of evidence, when it comes to what fluids and parts they use on their cars and bikes. Just wondering if there is anyone here who can attest to Costco's gas quality.
I have a Costco executive membership so that is kind of an incentive to get gas through them when possible. I've been meaning to stop into the tire department to see if they carry or can order bike tires but by the time I finally make it through the checkout line I just want to leave :laughing

I'd never go out of my way to get gas in that clusterfuck, and going to costco on a moto is a waste unless you have a trailer, so I'm not sure you'll get a lot on the subject...

I imagine most riders dont want to wait in the usual line for the 3 gallons of gas they need to buy---not worth saving 40cents for 5 extra mins?

The main difference between gas station brands are the detergent added to them, the gasoline are pretty much the same (regionally, they come from the same refinery). Costco is a top tier gas station, so I wouldn't hesitate to use them in my car. I don't know if I'd wait in that line in a bike though. The savings isn't worth it, to me.

i get sum before costco opens, or when gas is about to close. No issues with the gas

Gas quality at Costco is okay, the lines and people being rude aren't. People are so icky I go elsewhere for motorcycle fill ups.

I don't even know what the cost of gas is and haven't for the past 5 years of moto commuting.

I know folks who will drive super far out of the way to save 10 cents on gas. I just go to whatever station is the most convenient. Costco/Safeway gas are generally clusterfucks and not worth my fill up costing $13 vs $14.

But I have heard costco gas is shit. But it's usually anecdotal, never heard of anyone running actual tests on the various gas options.

Cash back thing for executive membership only works for the main cash registers, so gas and tire purchases don't count... last I checked anyway

As fo lines, just avoid the hours that the warehouse is open. Gas opens at 6am

If you use the Costco Amex, you get 4% back on gas. I have a Costco pretty convenient to where I live so I feed the car and truck there. Not worth the lines or idiots for the 4 gals I put in the bikes every few days.

I use Costco for gas in my bike and car and truck 80-90% of the time. Saves a lot of money plus rewards. I won't wait in line on my bike though. Savvy people go at off hours

I use Costco for my bike's gas when it's convenient. Never had a problem with other customers. Zoom in, gas up, g'bye.

yea we should

Just scoot to the front at Costco. Line splitting is legal isn't it? :dunno

But it might cause a fight at the pumps. :teeth
The gas is the same as anyplace else you'd buy it.

Going to costco for 91 gasoline over Shell or chevron saves me around $700-$1,000 a year roughly just in my VW Golf

I have a car which is very sensitive to fuel quality. Shell and Chevron it runs best on. Generics, Arco, Valero are to be avoided.

It does fine on Costco.

I run Costco in the bike. You have to avoid peak times. But $.45/gal is $.45/gal whether you're buying 3 or 20. When I'm commuting its 700mi a week. It adds up.

I use Costco for my gas when it's an option. Non peak hours the wait isn't too bad, plus for me, I can do the small amount of grocery shopping I need for myself and store it in my top case at the same time. I figure the amount of time and money I save by limiting my space and thus not randomly buying things I don't need more then makes up for the minor time loss at the pump.

I'm wondering if you will now be able to buy weed at Costco and if they'll be selling it by the bale.
