i get off work at 0600. i thought i was gonna be clever and swing by Alice's on my way home (30 minute detour) and have the winning pic posted before anyone else even got to smell their omelet being prepared!

At least i saw this 1st, before i got pwned 2x.

park rangers were in persuit of a friend of mine on a motorcycle. he went the wrong way thru the tunnel. cars coming toward him. he had room on the side to get thru and evaded arrest.


this is just a story i though of one day........

Usually less traffic on a raining day, but that would suck for you. You might get a minute or two.

Don't exactly know what you mean but I'm trying to figure out how to get a picture without getting killed. Great, beautiful spot BTW and you should have stopped in on Sausage Fest on your way home.

Sorry, man. It was on my way last night. I was afraid I was going to miss out too since I had to wait about seven hours to post it.

I had maybe a minute to take this. If you're going solo to this one you gotta be prepared. Glove off, camera ready, leave the bike running and take it at the far end of the tunnel so you're most visible. Either be the last in a fast group or be last coming from the other side and do a U.

I was just talkin' 'bout people complaining (for earlier destinations) but not getting their monkey butts out there to do it.

If you want help, I can meet up with you in a couple of hours. (I haven't gone home yet.) Really, this one takes some preparation to be safe.
