Best Burger Spots in Da Bay!

For fancy-pants burgers Mona's is pretty good. They have 2 locations. There's also Roam and Bistro Burger in Lafayette. For a good no-frills burger it's pretty tough to beat Nation's. I've recently discovered Mooyah as well. They do the super smashed patty thing but it's a tasty burger. There's a new place called Burger Lounge way out in deep Walnut Creek that I need to check out.

I'm over fancy pants burgers. I don't care about foo-foo toppings any more, I just want quality ingredients prepared properly. Meat, cheese, onion, 'mater, lettuce, bun, mustard n' ketchup. Boom. Feed me. :afm199

I'm pretty much right there with you.

The best burger you'll have is when you goto the butcher, get a 50/50 mix of chuck and bacon, and grill it yourself.

Thank me later

Will have to try that. Boulevard Burger in Castro Valley does a 50/50, was pretty good but I bet the home version is way better.

Current Fru Fru Favorites:
Girl and the Fig (with gruyere and bacon), Sonoma
Sidebar (they use a Hawaiian roll and have great pickles), Oaklamd

Standby:
Nations

In-n-Out is shit.

Not impressed with Red Robin either.

Barney's went down the toilet years ago.

I was pleasantly surprised with Boulevard Burger in Castro Valley.

Beeps Burgers in Danville is pretty good. Nice you can get mushrooms and jalapeños on a burger.

Squeezers Burger Factory

gonna need a wayback machine..

I used to go there as a kid. I called it Tweezers :laughing. Dad and owner of appliance parts distributor (in San Leandro) used to take me.

Beeps in the city is good, too :thumbup

I don’t really eat beef anymore, BUT I had a bite of a pretty tasty cheddar burger at The Refuge a couple of days ago.

Fuddruckers is pretty good. Everything is fresh and they cook to order. You put on your own condiments so if you don’t like it blame yourself.

INO > Habit. Habits burgers are seriously over cooked, although they’re tasty enough.

Hamburger in Sausalito.

Kirk's Steakburgers on Bascom in Campbell.

I like quality ingredients more than I like exotic buns, weird stuff on the burger, etc.

Jerry’s Beefburgers in San Leandro. Dad mentioned them tonight and their soft fries.

Zorba's in Millbrae. Yeah, it's pizza place but they make damn near everything there.
Their mushroom burger on a toasted bun with grilled onions is really, really good.
