Best Burger Spots in Da Bay!

Whiz burger meets my requirements for a burger, - quick, convenient, and relatively tasty. Based on this thread, I might check out Fuddruckers this weekend, despite my reservations because of the name, and dislike of patronizing nationwide chain restaurants.

Fuddruckers is pretty good. Everything is fresh and they cook to order.

Now thats what I'm talking about. I've never had a better burger than Fuddruckers even when paying twice as much at a nice restaurant.

Although a moose burger gives any beef burger a run for its money.

The best I had was San Benito House in half moon bay

Sadly, they did away with it in their menu.

I had no problem spending $15+ for a REAL burger but apparently everyone else did

Popsons in SF on Market was the last memorable burger I had.

i get their burger at least once a week maybe twice if im really feelin beefy.. Best burger I have had hands down.

I always end up with indigestion after eating at Clarke's...the flavor is great though. There used to be a place over near 85 and DeAnza...I think it was called Kirk's Burgers. To me they were the best burgers I've ever had outside of making them at home. Little meat footballs of goodness.

No, the one near 85 and DeAnza was a second Clarke's location. I used to eat at it semi-regularly in the early 2000's.

Should also have suggested St. John's Bar & Grill in Sunnyvale.

Hamburger in Sausalito.

Kirk's Steakburgers on Bascom in Campbell.

I like quality ingredients more than I like exotic buns, weird stuff on the burger, etc.

Kirk's is the BEST, hands down. :thumbup

In So Cal, Fatburger is damn good.

I like that Kirk's serves them plain; condiments and garnish are DIY and pretty much everything is available.

Them selling beer and wine doesn't hurt, either.

Plus they don't mind if you rearrange their outdoor tables as long as you put 'em back.

I'm adding Fatburger to my list for next time I get dragged to LA.

Another big +1 for Kirk's steakburgers and for Clark's too as a close second.

For lunch if dining in, Sundance in PA is upscale burger awesomeness.
they will actually go really rare if you wan't it that way where most places won't. A quality of meat issue usually... they don't have them on the dinner menu though, but I have asked before and they had one left from lunch or they say all gone. Another clue that they use really fresh stuff I would believe.

You can go almost any burger place in Oakland (except Barneys) and it will be good.

Bens Burgers, Libmo

Lokanta in Pleasanton has a lamb burger that I really like and I believe it's called the Cellar Door in Pleasanton that has a pretty good pretzel bun burger.

Not super duper, greasiest thing I ever ate.

If you ever make it to Grass Valley Pine street burger is very very good.

Perry's in Larkspur has a good burger and they're 1/2 price on Tuesdays. Gott's is opening a place in Bon Air Center where Chevy's and Wipeout used to be.
