There are good and bad information on all forums. I posted some info on correct spring for my weight and some dildo was posting his info contrary to catylist reactions info which I used. He owned an older evo without the Ohlins but swore up and down he was correct.

If you're looking for a out of the box race bike these aren't it IMO. They need a few things to get them to handle as well as a Japanese bike and because it's for a duck you will pay extra. For my weight I need to replace fork and shock springs. I was doing ok until I rode a friends R6, now I'm back trying to get this thing to work like it should.:twofinger
 
ducati.ms is good for it's search function and build threads. Some people put a LOT of money into them and those are always fun to read (see 998 with 1098r engine transplant).

Otherwise bike/brand specific sites are usually boring and full of fair-weather riders.
