Best motorcycle movie?

Track down "Electra Glide in Blue" with Robert Blake. A bit of a cult following, never made a big audience because it's a bit artsy, so the artsy crowd thought it was a motorcycle movie and the motorcycle crowd thought it was an artsy film so nobody much saw it. Except slightly artsy motorcyclist.

Wild Hogs...

saw it over the weekend ...not the best but entertaining enough to relate to it...

+1 on world's fastest indian. it's a bit slow, but Anthony Hopkins is a savage, and Burt Munro was a savage. casted his own cylinders??? 200mph on a home-made bike. the movie has some fist-pump parts, for sure.

I don't care how many people make fun of me for saying this, but I thought Tron Legacy was AWESOME, and it has almost every reason I like motorcycles in it. GREAT motorcycle scenes.

TT Isle of Man Official Review 2010

There is nothing that will get your blood pound like one of the Isle of Man TT DVD's!

I have that DVD! I've watched it a hundred times! It's so awesome. Conor Cummins pulling that humongous lead in the first race is the coolest thing ever.

"Brown Bunny" - simple as pie

self-absorption, roadracing & BJs - what else is needed, after that??

Its not a motorcycle movie by any means, but I feel the need to call out Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps, just because it has a scene where two of the main characters are out on a casual group ride together - on a Desmosedici RR and a Motoczysc C1! Haven't seen the movie all the way through (it looks kinda shit) but I saw this scene a few times on flights last year, and the ludicrisosity (that's a word, right? :laughing) always blew my mind.

Here are some selected scenes from Torque. It has good entertainment value as a rider to make you go WTF? But as far as a movie it's... just one of those typical unrealistic action flicks. I'll watch any movie that involves motorcycles tho :D

Lol, so lame. Still, got my vote just 'cause it was a Daytona 955i to boot... even if the train ultimately ran it over.

I remember watching this with my Pop as a kid growing up.

EDIT 72SBC - LOL, I was digging up that pic when you posted that. concur. good flick.

Wow no mention of Easy Rider. You guys are weak.

I was waiting for that. But also omitted was Harley Davidson and the Marlboro Man (NSFW):

And Beyond The Law with Charlie Sheen. Based on a true story of the FBI infiltrating the HA:

Long Way Down AND Long Way Round were enjoyable adventure documentaries.

Race to Dakar-great documentary and look at riding a motorcycle in the Dakar.

Troy's Story: The Legend of Superbike Champion Troy Bayliss- a must see for any WSB fan. You can stream this one on Netflix.

girl on a motorcycle ... a bit bizarre and surreal, but Marianne Fathfull was hot back then.

Oh my god, someone else besides me liked it! The racing sequence is from a real Loudon club race. And of course it features the most beautiful motorcycle ever made.

And while we're on the subject of serious film, check out Roma by Fellini. It's not a motorcycle movie by any means, but it ends with a pretty spectacular sequence of a bunch of bikes riding around Rome looking cool and making a bunch of noise. :thumbup

No one's ever seen it, but it's one of my favorites.

Little Fauss and Big Halsey with Robert Redford, Lauren Hutton and Michael J Pollard. Every riders fantasy of a pick up truck and racing dirt bikes across the country BITD when privateers had a chance at the big time and scoring with the hot babes.

FTMFW!! I think they raced at Sears Point in the end. (oops, spoiler)

For us lane-splitting, traffic-weaving, high-speed commuters, only one movie scene for us:
