Best place to buy Ducati?

I've too had the pleasure of dealing with dunne (owner).

There's always Hattar!
They tipped a big-ass garbage can over in their lot, polished the floor and called it a *Showroom*!
SHWEEEEET! :teeth

Carlin Dunne at Ducati of Santa Barbara has always treated me right. He's the owner.

And he is also the guy who won Pike's Peak last year in record time, the last time Pike's will be run with the combo of dirt and asphalt. The bike is still in the showroom. He actually had it for sale, and it could be for all I know, but I wouldn't sell it. And yeah, he's a nice guy. :thumbup But I don't think he has any Panigale's. As I posted before, he had people on the waiting list.

Always had good experience with Motor Cafe/Peninsula Honda, both buying bikes and their service department, over the past 10-15 years.

+1 for their service department. Their parts folks are also top notch.

Best place to buy a ducati is craigslist.

Wait till they work the kinks out of the Panigale first.

Craigslist. The new Flea Market..! :twofinger

I've witnessed TMC finishing up a 1199 sale. They definitely take the time to explain everything to you rather than shove you out the door. Good people :thumbup

That would be the one...

Your Panigale felt real nice... :teeth

I got my Panigale from Ace Motor Sports in Concord.

Jim's a great guy to work with and took care of me.

Brian

+1 for Ace. Good folks over there. Got my Hyper from them, and when the time comes, a new Multi will be purchased there.

I love hattar. Good guys and great environment. I haven't been there since the Panigale was released but seeing as its in Marin, I would bet they are sold out.

playa, if you're asking what dealer u can get the best deal on a panigale... u can't afford one... when i bought my ducati, i tipped the salesman 3Gs :twofinger

You're probably right... but still want one. Dont mind buying MSRP, but I DO mind paying dealer fee, dealer daughter going to college fee, dealer has a date tonight fee, etc. I also am looking for a dealer who would take the time to explain the features etc. rather than grab the cash and send me on my way... At any rate, seems like I'm in good hands at Motor Cafe. Thanks for all your input!

At this point it is "who still has one," not "where should I buy one?"

Did a search and checked the sponsors and couldn't find anything. Long story short, was in Motor Cafe in Santa Clara and wife says "Ooooo, this Panigale looks nice, you should get one". Far be it for me to disagree with her so I'm looking for a Ducati Dealer. Motor Cafe is cool, but since I've never bought a new bike before I figured ask around to see if there was a dealer that puts the extra mile in to sell a bike or cut a deal. I realize with the wait list, there is probably no deal cutting, but it'd be nice to talk to a dealer who might think about it. At any rate, let me know of any of your experiences.

Thanks!

I haven't been into Modesto Ducati...since they moved into..another dealership...but..If I was going to buy a Ducati, it would be from them...Period.

It's like you have your own race team...

I've had a very good experience buying my diavel at motor cafe. But with anything that's a hot commodity, just getting finding anybody that has a panigale to sell is the tough part. If you really want one, put yourself on every dealer's waiting list and wait for it to come up.

If you want it while it's hot, you gotta pay to play. Or wait until next year when availability is better, and any kinks have been worked out. Especially with a all new model.
