one of my fondest memories from middle skul [then called "junior high"] was a 3-way sock fight with 2 pals

each sock was filled with a few others for max effect

of course, you never knew whom to trust -
we beat the hell outta each other - great fun!

I think the little stinker is going to surprise us all this weekend. He's riding that high from the last race whereby he forcefully shoved his shutzpa between Rossi and the finish line and came out victorious.

Nothing to loose...confident...no "points strategy" inner dialogue to worry about like the YamaLube boys do. He's gonna be a threat this weekend. Mark my words. MARK THEM!!!

He grew up racing ten races a day or more. in his AMA Superbike years, he did a bunch of AMA Flat Track which included at least one heat and one main. He still trains relentlessly and has always had a reputation for putting in the most laps on test days. If anything, he's probably looking forward to it. These guys love to race. It's a big deal because now I get to see him race twice a day, hopefully inside the Top 10 instead of farting around in 22nd place.
