Bump

Finally rode into work today! I was in training in Texas last week so no motorcycle for me.

You guys have more balls than I do, couldn't resist taking coffee in a thermos and driving to work today.

I was going to ride Marsh Creek before work but that went out the window when it started raining as I was putting my gear on :thumbdown

I'm a little sore today, at Little 99 Stockton track yesterday and crashed twice. That is two more times than I have ever crashed at a track. Now I'm looking at getting a mini bike to take there a couple times a month:teeth:ride

It was dry out in Palo Alto when I left so I didn't even realize it was raining in SF. Luckily it had just started as I pulled in to work.

You guys also got me nervous about theft so I stuck the disc lock on there. :laughing :twofinger

BTW, what were you riding at Stockton? It's such a fun track. :ride

I will go take a look at lunchtime :laughing

mine developed a slight oil leak, took the fairings off yesterday to find it on the water pump shaft so spent yesterday cleaning all the crud off and washing the bike in readiness for the new O ring that is now on its way from Ron Ayres... so back on Bart today

I rode TWINRYDER's Kayo 125

and Manimal's NSR125

I am going to buy a Kayo 125 most likely...can get one new with the race package for $2800. Just need to sell my sv650 for $1500 first...

I wonder if you share a train with Phanuel when you BART in?

I also spent some time in the garage and adjusted my chain slack. Realized I didn't install rear tire correctly after tire change, had over 3" of slack and the right side wasn't aligned with the left :wtf

Now that I think about it, I originally torqued the axle nut down to around 50lbs and then realized the spec was 74lbs a day or two later. Maybe that messed with the alignment...

Sorry to hear about the oil leak, though. Hopefully you can get it sorted asap!

I love the Kayos! I really want to try one out to see if I'd fit. They look like so much fun. I rode the WR around Stockton and it feels a bit too big for that track to be honest. A Kayo would be perfect.

I was worried I wouldn't fit on one being 6'5" 187lbs with 34" inseam but I had no issues! Almost put a deposit down at the track but forced myself to walk away :laughing

its only a small drip every day or so and its had it for a while so its not really going to stop me riding... I just have to remember to wipe the collected drip from the sump of the bike every morning so it doesn't end up splatting the rear tire.... didn't ride today due to the predicted poor weather and the fact I had just washed and polished it after the clean up yesterday :laughing

I too am getting a Kayo. :D

Rode in today and caught an accident as I-80 exits to 24 eastbound. Stalled car in the left lane of two, with a bunch of dummies not noticing the car, everyone swerved and one car hit the stall. I was going to wait, but I didn't feel it was safe on the shoulder. I'll call CHP later this morning. I'm processing the video now.

The beast is in...and Happy Belated Mr. Pepsi!! :party:cake

Happy you were able to make a non-event of a potential crash that a less experienced commuter might be caught in :thumbup

How did you know?? If you know him in real life that doesn't count :x

Surprised it wouldn't fit in your saddlebag, must be a life-size portrait?:twofinger

A day late, but yesterday and today.

Officially changed to winter jacket and gloves today. Wore mesh yesterday and got cold. Probably be too hot by the end of the week.

Nothing of note to report on the hiways.

I'm parked on 2nd near Market! Unless it was stolen already. :later

Rough morning for me. Hand therapist was late to see me so I left late from the doctor's office. Started raining in SF and bike was super squirrely. Accidentally smacked a car's mirror. :(

I think my tire pressures are a good 6-8 PSI too high. I'm running 32/34 and people say to run 26-28. Oops. Probably why it didn't like the wet stuff today.

Haha, ya, my body wasn't estatic to be on a bike (after racing all weekend and a track day yesterday I'm a wee bit sore), but helped loosen things up, too :laughing It was damp once into the city though...roads were hella slick, so suuuuper easy on the controls.
