Same bike, same parking spot. Gotta mix it up with filters I guess.

Hah! So close!

I saw your bike on the way in. I wasn't 100% sure if it was yours (mostly sure because there aren't many GSXR 1000s) but I figured I'd park as close to it as I could. :teeth

First ride to work on the new steed.

Someone told me a Vulcan used to park in my spot, he didn't know it was mine.

city looked amazing on the way in this morning.... blush red sky and clear.. almost dropped down to treasure island to take a picture but was running slightly late.

will see if Cookie gets any closer today...

Would I be a horrible person to blare out a pre-recorded tire screech noise coming from a side speaker to that driver?

:devil :toothless

Given her lack of attention I'd think avoiding anything that caused her to be startled would be best. You never know what she'd do. Mash her brakes and cause an accident with the person behind her? Grab the wheel with too much vigor and side-swipe you? Best to give a wide berth, get around and get on with the day. IMHO.

We did...well I made sure I had a completely open lane 2 when I went by, then got her attention and motioned to her to put her phone down and then gave her a :thumbdown and she seemed to sober up at that point.

Certainly NOT in this situation, but there have been a few times when I'd come across a driver like this in far lighter traffic (where any bad reaction would be far less likely to cause an accident) and have been known to give a gentle tap on their window with my metal glove knuckles. I try not to do it hard enough to startle them, but just enough to make them look up. The expressions are priceless, and the phones have always been put down :p

I've crashed on 237 at moderate speed (45ish? when I hit the brakes) after being side-swiped while in heavy traffic. The only thing running through my mind while I was doing the dead cockroach down the road was, "I sure hope no one runs over me."

I still take risks. Even ones that could end up putting me in the same situation again. Messing with inattentive cagers is not one of the risks I choose to take. To each their own.

Okay, let me clarify - I'm not riding around looking for drivers to mess with - these have all been drivers who have done their damnest to take me out (requiring evasive moves on my part to avoid them) and they STILL haven't felt the need to put down their phone. One gal I had to move a full lane and a half and another car had to swerve to avoid her and she was STILL staring at her f'ing phone! The most recent was in town, after she changed lanes attempting to take out my front tire, and I did my little knock while she was stopped at light that I was able to split up to...

I'm not running around on freeways looking for cars to bang on their windows - I may be stupid, there there is a limit :x

Okay. I'm not suggesting you are. I'm just saying it's not worth my time or risk. And I'm not telling you how to ride. I am in no way judging you or anyone else. Confronting cagers is just not for me. Ride your ride. Cool? :):ride
