Pandora ruling just came out...

CRB said:
Web radio services must pay rights-holders 17 cents per 100 streams under the ruling issued Wednesday for rates from 2016-2020. Pandora’s been paying 14 cents per 100 streams for its free, ad-supported service and sought a rate of 11 cents.

Pandora, the largest online radio provider, and its competitor iHeartMedia Inc. have been jousting with Sound Exchange, which represents record labels and artists. The music industry had sought 25-29 cents, while iHeartMedia suggested 5 cents.

hmmm, increase in premium paid but not as much as was sought by industry

I wasn't being serious but with regard to FACU spin off isn't that a good thing

oh absolutely :laughing

dumping FCAU should increase their bottom line

I'm laughing here because you and SumZero (online professional investor forum, which has had some killer picks in the past), have said the same thing on the same day ;)

PS: Pandora will realize a 20% increase in "licensing" costs per this ruling... If it is priced into the stock, you should see a $2-3 pop in the coming days here, they should not recover to pre Oct prices. I think for short term investor you could hop in and out over coming weeks. This ruling should cause longs to get out though since it indicates the direction the CRB will go in pricing schema.

Lol all you crybabies complaining about my math - 289% is really close to 300% isnt it.

So gpro is a long term investment when in 1 fiscal 52 week year has dropped around 300% or 289%

Dont think gpro is a winner long term for a action cam, but thats me
