Mr Mark and his sweet ‘28 101 Indian Scout, on location in Sonora, this morning:

Bill’s 1947 chopper, the last year of the knucklehead, and maybe the most valuable bike on the ride.
and Mr Bill, the man himself (his B bike on this rally was a 1974 Moto Guzzi El Dorado):
and “most popular” rider:
we called him “Jumpsuit John” cuz he wuz stylin’ in his Italian driving suit and ‘70s wine skin water bottle:
for those of you who follow vintage exploits here on BARF, Mr John was the trouble-truck driver that was involved in the head on collision with the drunk driver near Auburn on the first morning of the NorCal TT last September. so it was nice to see him fully recovered after that scary drama.
