Cartel Beheading

This one's disturbing in another way....but at least he's still alive.

It's nice to know that our federal agencies (ATF this time), are coming up with phenomenal ideas to find the cartel leaders.

operation fast and furious,

"Under Fast and Furious, begun in fall 2009, the ATF allowed illegal buyers to walk away with weapons in the hope that agents in Phoenix could track the guns and arrest cartel leaders."
one of the many articles floating around. Washington Post has some good coverage too.

L.A. Times

greater still, after 3 months, and a failed program, they continued selling them. :| (hence the new investigation recently)

if the amount of weapons that were lost to Mexico under this program seem like a small amount (around 2,000), I'd say the 2 AK47's (that passed thru this program) that were involved in a border patrol agents death is more telling.

:dunno

My take is that the official operation's announcement is a cover-story to hide the real intent of the weapons sales. There's tacit implied approval for this fiasco as many people in our government is making a tonne of money off the drug-trade. Don't be quick to forget the Iran-Contra mess. Also look at who lost out on A LOT of money when the Taliban clamped down on the opium trade.

Title says it all, one guy gets it with a chainsaw, other with a knife.

Gotta click the actual video in the link for it to start. Most def NSFW: Link Removed by Moderator

The owner of the sites doesn't want content like this here. I think it's a pretty good reason.

Fair nuff, but then why have a TOS at all if everything's going to be based off of somebodys/peoples feelings. Don't have a problem with it, just have a problem with the front. Keep it real BARF :twofinger

I've heard so much about this thread but finally it surfaces on my "New Posts" search.

IBT, "why didn't you look?" Because I didn't care enough. :twofinger

While I clearly don't care that you posted the link, I can say that the TOS is perfectly fine being based on someone's personal feelings. That someone is the webmaster and since it's his website, he runs it how he see's fit. That's not to say that I agree with the selective way in which some things are banned and other's aren't.

You misunderstood, the TOS being based off of somebodys feelings is fine by me. My link did not break the TOS in any way what so ever. So what we have left over is somebody/people who manage this place just didn't like the link. Okay, also fine, their site they can do what they wish. What I have an issue with is having a TOS at all since clearly you can play by the rules and still have posts edited/put on a break. Get rid of the TOS and just run the place like every other forum, no need to pretend there are guidelines to follow when it's clearly been on a "who do we like" basis.

I agree. However, there's a thing known as CYA.
