This thread has jumped the shark.
I guess every judge I've testified in front of misinterpreted spriggs as well![]()
Got the letter yesterday...
At today's interest rate, that will be just about enough to cover the postage to send it to you.And it'll take up to another 3 to get my money back according to the letter. So the county will have earned a 6-month interest on MY money. Another way, we the poor citizens, get ripped by our govt.

Two wrongs don't make it right.
How about not requiring the citizen to pay the bail upfront ? That sounds better doesn't it?
didn't they recently change it so you no longer have to pay up front?

The thing is, I have a long commute to work and from work to clients sites So I spend a fair amount of time in my car exposed to the sun. I bought the expensive tint that blocks the heat and harmful rays, yet very light so to not get in trouble. Is there anything I can say or do about this?
When we bought our truck back in 1999 we had tint installed on the rear window, and the rear side windows. At the time the tint place asked if we wanted legal tint on the front side windows - they had a special tint that blocked UV and IR but was perfectly legal for visible light transmission. They even gave us a certificate that stated that it complied with the appropriate laws. Looking at the windows they didn't look tinted at all, but the interior of the truck stayed a lot cooler after the tint was applied.
