Chrysler is now Stellantis

Think so; no tranny issues with any of ours. No rattles neither. But, that oiling issue on the 5.7's can be an issue on some trucks. Lifter issues. The Ford's we've had were rattle traps. We've got 3 new Fords that I'm interested to see how they're holding up. My guys talked me into them with the logic that the aluminum beds wouldn't rust out like the steel ones always have. Snow/ salt work is hell on trucks.

Dude at work recently bought the RAM3500 diesel and immediately installed a lift kit. It is a sweet truck :drool

I'nm pretty happy that I think I got one of the last Mercedes Grand Cherokees. Not going to say it's been Honda Trouble Free, but the biggest pain point last year was being trapped for parts.

But the vehicle is holding up. 11 years this year, 100K miles.

How ā€˜ bout those window switches šŸ˜

Reminds me of a regional airline I worked for years ago. They were merging two airlines, and it was going to be a ā€œSuper Regionalā€ carrier. They painted up a jet with the new name, ā€œSureJetā€ and unveiled it to the execs, and live streamed it.

I used to refer to them as ā€œgodamnlerchryslerā€ but now I’m really pushing for an ML.

The hellcat's are about mid $80's, but yeah; awesome power. Still, a CT5 Blackwing shits on them....

IMO RAM makes great trucks. Ford: horrible. Had good luck with our fleet of Ram stuff...minus their shit ass 5.7L and oiling issue.
A CTV Blackwing is like $110k AND a fucking Grandpa car (Sedan). :laughing

has dodge fixed their transmission problem?
I mean, it all depends on how you are burning the clutch, but blame the driver for that more than anything. Clutch replacement prices are typical with other cars though.

:)

I thought it was their auto trans, sell it before 60K. Chargers particularly affected.

Hellcat's are 4 doors too...and fucking scary at speed in switchbacks. Like HELLA scary. Base wings are in the $95K range. The 2025's will be the fastest 4-door sedans (roadcourse).

Mercedes owned Chrysler for awhile. I know my GJC has a lot of Mercedes input into it.

Then again, from what I've heard, tangentially, Mercedes today just aren't Mercedes any more, so...take that all for what it's worth.

Never been impressed by Chrysler products, aside from a few Vipers and Cummins trucks. The Mercedes era provided a few benefits, but the Stellantis era isn't my cup of tea. All it did was bundle the world's least reliable car brands into one group. For example I wouldn't touch Dodge's rebranded Alfa Romeos with a ten foot pole.

I think we need a Stellantis thread in the political forum. I can’t say what I want in this one.
