So i was trying to cherry pick villages to attack to get to my 1250 trophies and found something that looked like I could take it but all sorts of troops came pouring out of it's clan hall... and proceeded to destroy my guys, what the hell was that?

When you join a clan your clan mates will give you troops to help defend your base. The better the clan the better the troops. Also as you upgrade your townhall you upgrade your clan castle to fit more troops in there.

You also get to use the clan castle (cc) on offense. Once you can fit 20 spaces you can get 4 max hogs in there which will pretty much clear all defenses for you at th6

Agreed, they've used the same graphics engine for their past 5 games it seems (i've stopped keeping up), they release another map pack every two months for $20 which you practically have to buy if you want to keep playing online. Total money grab game that does nothing to further video game progression. Kinda like...
No but seriously, I've yet to buy a COD since modern warfare two, just for those reasons. Also didn't buy battlefield hardline.
 
I tried that wizard golem bomber health spell attack has been working great. Just need to level up the golems for more effective attacks

I'm still working on maxing out my TH9 base. I've already upgraded everything I can upgrade in the lab. I have a lvl20 BK and a lvl19 AQ. I want to get them both to lvl30 before I move up to TH10.

I left my farming clan. I think I might be finally weaning myself off of this game.

Hey Mike! Just saw your post. The clan's ok but our war stats suck lately. We win maybe 1/4 of the time.

I'm almost done with th8. Just have walls and some towers left. Troops are almost all done. I think just minions and gobs left to go. I really want an AQ. It's a total game changer
 
We just had a win streak of 15 in a row. We lost once now we are two deep into the next streak.

I'm totally looking forward to the update, just not for th11. I'm chilling at 9 for awhile until I can be consistent in air attacks. My hound/loon deployment is lacking.

anyone got a th8 war base layout for me to defend against some maxed out th8/mid th9s?
 
The clan I'm in now is on a 15 win streak. I've been just plugging away at my heros and walls. 11 level 10 walls down, 8,675,309 to go.
 
I'm still at TH9 myself. I finished lego walls and working on lava.
All troops and buildings are done. Currently have Lvl20 BK and Lvl 22 AQ. Just need 10k more DE for AQ23.

I might jump to TH10 once I get to AQ25. I dunno.... i'm just not looking forward to having to farm/grind for new buildings/troops again.
