Presumably at some point we (as a species) are going to have to figure that out, and we'll want as much lead time (years) as possible to get it sorted.

I think it would be reckless to abdicate that responsibility until we are 100% certain thay China or India are up the task of being a competent superpower. :x

Asteroids are pretty kvlt. Space in general is pretty kvlt cos it's all cold and dark and lifeless and shit.
