i really dont care about the minimum wage, as im not a business owner nor am i in the minimum wage echelon of wages, but this picture is on point.

i really dont want to turn this into a big discussion in the comic thread, but yeah, its a great point. as a society we should always condemn stupidity and not reward it.

...so should we have not rewarded all the rich people who made bad bets? All the home owners who over did their credit?

It isn't a reward, it is keeping up with the times. Minimum wage should be a minimum living wage, just enough to get by.
