havent yet.... but will....

fack this shit is super hard.. and i have it on beginner.. :mad

You're not a fighting game nerd, are you? MK mechanics are dead simple compared to MvC or SF. Played for a ocuple of hours, figured out some combos. Still need some time with the system to figure out frames and stuff.

Stormy's a FPS kinda guy. I play 2D fighters but haven't touched MK9 yet. Why can't the 360 version get a exclusive character too? Like a Locust from Gears or something?

its harder than the original mk 1 to 3. plus 360 control is kinda clunky for me.

Agreed. 3 had auto combos, where as here you need to time hits with dashes and specials and what not to get any decent damage. I've always loved the presentation in the MK series, but hated the game engine.

At least xbox players can play online...

Trooth.:laughing

Playing Dead Space 2 now. Just beat it and the DLC for it and I'm getting myself ready for Hardcore mode(No checkpoints, enemies drop mimimum ammo and do more than normal damage. If you die you revert to your last save. You only get to save 3 times).

Beat it on hardcore but be careful where you choose to save, you only get three. I can't tell you how many times I almost gave up on DS2, especially at the end because I made the mistake of using my last save way to soon.

yea most of the game isnt all too hard, but man the last 30 min gets reallll tough, especially with that damn monster that cant be killed

You can kill it but there's almost no point. There's a YouTube video where people use the force gun and push it into some giant fan.

Here's a little tip for the end of the game on hardcore. Use the (fully upgraded) contact beams secondary fire to get through the tough areas. I found you can just stasis your enemies and move along without having to kill them.
Just be aware if the enemies are to far off they won't be effected. Still I found this method highly effective in some of the rooms at the end of the game with multiple enemies.

Too bad schematics don't carry over because I could have used the contact beam on chapter 4 where I died.:laughing

Took me a hour and a half to get there.:(

Hey question anyone know of a good (cheaper) Internet that works for gaming? I just moved to pleasant hill and need to get the Internet but I'm not making tons of money I want it for gaming (cod4 and for school) at the very most I could pay aonth would be $50 but that's the MOST

After much dying and scrimping. I got to Chapter 13 in Dead Space 2 Hardcore. I've got this after banking about 20 medium health kits, 300 plasma cutter ammo, 100 ripper blades, 60 contact beam ammo and 20 stasis packs. Going to need them for the brutality coming up ahead.
