Nice work Nick
Is it worth it to get a used 5D? Or save my pennies and get the 5D MII?
The little lady is liking the XSi so much, I am finding the need for a second body.
Any thoughts?

on some glass...
Thinking about a lot of business stuff. Advertising, networking, portfolio building, etc. Have a lot to say and ask and it's totally not sorted out right now.
Will probably follow this up with a long rambling post in the next couple of days. Trying to kickstart my brain again.
Just use us as a sounding board and it will be much more beneficial to you and hopefully keep you motivated.
That right there, that's how I roll. I write mostly for myself, because putting it all out on a keyboard makes me think clearly.
And often good advice and ideas filter in from outside.

Made a camera purchase, which was followed by a phone call to try and entice me to upgrade my purchase. Was then followed by an email to contact "Sean" who would personally handle my order. "Sean" attempted again to get me to purchase much more. When I held my ground, he said the item was on back-order, and not available. I refused to budge and told him the order is therefore cancelled, and requested an email confirming same. No email forthcoming, so I emailed them confirming cancellation, and called my credit card alerting them to same.
Stay away from these guys!

This is obviously a bait-and-switch operation. They claimed that the camcorder I was purchasing was in stock and would ship on the 9th, but then decided it was backordered when I wouldn't buy any of their overpriced, fraudulently described accessories. On their website, they list the BP-809 at $139.99 and call it a 6-hour replacement battery. Amazon sells it for less than $55 and Canon's literature says that you only get 100 minutes of recording time with it. On the phone, their rep even lied to me about the capabilities of the camera to get me to buy an extremely overpriced SD card.

BAIT and SWITCH DEALER - DO NOT TRUST THEM! The whole idea is to lure you in with an attractive price, then force you to "confirm" with a sales rep, who reveals that the camera is really a gray market item (if you read between the sleezy lines), and you will need to up-grade to the full retail price camera if you want the real thing. If you are unaware of these tactics, then you could easily end up with a gray market camera and a boat-load of accessories they will insist you need. IT'S ALL A RIP-OFF!!!

WARNING: This online retailer conducts business in a DECEPTIVE, UNPROFESSIONAL, SLOPPY manner. Supreme Camera is also Mega Wholesale & TheCameraProfessional.com
The factual list of their DISHONEST practice is endless. To start:
- Video camcorder & accessory order was shipped in a used box with holes, improperly packed and nearly opened.
- Video camera was missing, three items were substituted.
- One item looked like it had vomit on it.
- The "extended warranty," which arrived over a week later was for a retail store in NJ
Unless trying to get a credit for your unfulfilled order is a sport, you can do without the mess and stress of this fraudulent operation.
