Good or bad. Do any of the posts on BARF affect the way you ride?

There is a tremendous amount of discussion here on riding but does any of it really make a difference to you or do you just post your two cents worth and continue riding as you did before.

I have picked up a few neat safety idea here and have tried to apply them to my daily riding.

There have also been quite a few posts that suggested that people do things on the road that I consider playing with fire.

I am just curious if any of this really makes a difference or are we all just stoking our own egos and ignoring everyone else.

Hell yes !

I've learned much...you wouldn't know it by the crap I spew, but: YES

BARF has given me perspective on a lot of different ways of riding, different types of bikes, mechanical problems diagnosed and solved.

But my riding is only changed by my real world experience.

yes it does.

sometimes, i am about to step out of the door with no helmet on and no clothes on, planning to do 180mph wheelies while running from the cops and installing underglow on my stretched swingarm, then i read BARF and someone posts to not do that. and i stop doing it.

thank you BARF guardians, if you never tell us not do those things, im sure we would be doing them all the time,

Everything I ever learned about counter steering Asians came from the BARF

No, I only use BARF to sell my old motorcycle junk. Unfortunately, I have not be able to sell any of it yet. Come on people buy my junk!

Well said - I agree. I read a lot of people's stories about riding irresponsibly but I still went and did it anyway and crashed. My real world experience of crashing will (hopefully) change the way I ride in the future.

All of BARF's talk about riding makes me go out and ride to find out who's right and wrong.

Then I come home after every ride having forgotten about you fuckers. :twofinger

When I've got a silly question, barf is the place to go. :laughing

Seriously though, a lot of theories and techniques you read about in books will be repeated here on barf. You just have to sift through a ton of garbage to get to the gems of knowledge.
