Do posts on BARF affect your riding?

I can't honestly answer the question 'cause I got on BARF before starting to ride.

There is a lot of good info here and a lot of good people who frequent it. BARF is a very good and useful thing as long as a person knows how to get past the problems that are inherent to every 'internet many-to-many communication forum' I've seen. I'm really happy to have found it and believe BARF and BARFers are helping me become a decently safe rider.

I can say for sure that reading BARF has helped me become a better and more attentive driver though.)

BARF has given me perspective on a lot of different ways of riding, different types of bikes, mechanical problems diagnosed and solved.

But my riding is only changed by my real world experience.

theres so much to say but in a way of summing it up, this holds a lot of wieght for me. I feel like i have so much to really say in regards to a big fat THANK YOU to this community. You are like brothers and sisters and bullies and bitches :teeth but it just wouldnt be barf without the entirety of the spices that seem to mold together here.

Has barf made me a better and proactive rider? YES
Has barf most likely saved me from hurting myself and others? YES!!
Has barf taught me the true and real insight to accepting the challenge of becoming an ever evolving and in tune motorist? Better believe it...

I could sit here all night and really think of how a lot of what you people say on here sits in the back of my mind as I ride. True my real world experiences shape what I do and how I act, but the thoughts that may shape those actions are deeply rooted from you folks here.

I owe many thanks to all of you
:hail

The people here helped me stay alive, especially as a new rider entering the world of bikes w/zero experience and not many friends that rode. Barf was the reason I bought a gs500 for my first bike instead of a SS 600 or a liter bike. Barf was the reason I geared up fully, Barf encouraged me to do track days, Barf encouraged me to read books and study riding, Barf taught me to keep my skills sharp by practicing all the time. Even though I now live in SD. I still visit here often knowing that there is a great community of folks that are always willing to answer a question or to extend a helping hand. :thumbup

bravo! Barf has made me stop for every rider on the side of the road who seems lost with directions. or needs help getting gas, or has mechanical issues. Even though I may not be of assistance to there complete problem, I would just feel a lot better knowing another rider would stop for me based on the fact that we are all out there sharing the same experiences and what have you...

i would also like to add my BARF success story. i was diagnosed with an incurable cancer and if not through the work of BARF i would not be here today. you see my disease can only be cured by a rare mineral that can only be found in meteors. BARF took me and hopped aboard spaceship 08NJA250 and actually brought me to a zooming meteor and cured me of my affliction. afterward he dropped me off at home with $2million in cash and 3 dead hookers to play with!

thank you BARF! youve saved my life! :thumbup

Now I don't know if BARF has made me a better rider, but it has definately made me a better lover. I learned some awesome new moves like the Hucklebuck and how to correctly beat the breaks off of a fine young tenda'. Just ask my little Gixxer cutie. :teeth Come on pussy cat, you know who you are. :shocker

You all actually ride?

How do you find the time between posting up your opinions! :p

Oh and BARF posts helped me to decide to stop commuting. Too many of you folks get run over on the freeway, I don't want to die bouncing off of the hood of a car going to work. :(

BARF designed a time- temporal field device that actually stops time while we post so that we can post and not have it take up any time what so ever. afterwards we all go out and ride in the rain and on gravelly goaty roads, making sure to stay away from any starbucks locations.

LIES!

Buells melt in the rain.

Fact. :x

You save even more time by doing the rebuild during the ride--just switch the time module mechanism to "duel mode." Actually, you have to split the difference between the two modes and hold it in place with a dirty strip of electrical tape you find on the side of the road. . .along with a little dried manure. I know, it's Buell-shit, but it works. . .
