Do You Mountain Bike?

Kinda off topic (and I apologize if it is), but anyone out there participating in Bike To Work Day? Particularly in Alameda County?

Looks like about 40 miles from Marina Bay to Pleasanton, with climbs on Spruce, Bear Creek Road, and Upper Happy Valley Road to bring my pace down. I'd have to leave at 7AM to do it - not sure if Danville Blvd is stop-and-go in the mornings.

You might find more people who ride to work in the "Do you road bike" thread:

^^

My boy we went riding with(hayden) got a similar bike, specialized right? Does that version not have the brain?

BTW for my squidself the 8" rear rotor sucks, I'm sure it works great for someone who knows what to do with it but for me it locks up really really easily.

It's an 07 Specialized enduro SL.

Gonna be making first tracks tomorrow at 4:30 @ Redwood and JMP. Now is your chance to kick my ass, I haven't ridden for over a month. I wont be such an easy target a week from now..:teeth

BTW, that's a sick pic of that drop, is that at the ranger station at Joaquine Miller Rd and Skyline?

edit: derrrr... I actually read your post and aparently its C-camp. I haven't been there since i had a hard tail, gonna have to revisit.

Its at the top of China Camp, something called Nike Point or something like that. Top of an asphalt road.

Shit I'd love to ride tomorrow! I'm all burnt out though! Did a spin class Tuesday, Heavy Leg workout Wednesday, and China Camp today. How many miles were you planning? If its super light weight I'm down. You'll kick my ass either way though :laughing

Finally got me a full suspension too, little older but I'm loving it :teeth

Yeah, let's do it then. I'll be at skyline gate at 4:30. I really just need to give the bike a shakedown, so it will be a pretty laid back ride. Anyone else that can make it?

would anyone be interested in a enduro expert? i dont really bike as much so I want to sell it

seems the regular enduros are popping up after I got the Reign X :|

I'm down -- I could use a few pre-ride/training sessions before July.

No shuttle info listed the Yuba Expeditions site.

I'd also like to demo an SC bike..

Lisa wants to pre-ride the XC course at some point - it'll determine whether or not she enters. So at some point, we're doing it :)

I know one gal on MTBR is gonna try to pre-ride it this weekend, I'm waiting to read her report on it.

Me too, that's what I happen to be signed up for.
