Too bad...
I'm on a '07 Stumpjumper FSR Elite and truly ride all-mountain. I do technical and standard climbs, descend as fast as possible, jump here and there, rough rocks, big roots, technical downhills. I am 220 pounds and feel that the Fox "Triad" shock is just not substantial enough to absorb the big stuff without completely bottoming out and still providing a good setting solution for technical climbs and small bump compliance. Would the DHX Air 5.0 give me a substantial benefit? Is it worth the cost?
Also looking to upgrade the wheels. Any very strong, light wheels that you guys swear by? What differences will I be able to clearly feel?

Has anyone gone to the Sea Otter Classic? I want to go check it the vendors, but is it worth it to go all the way down there?![]()

Fuck, the Ashland race sounds like fun...
.Fuck, the Ashland race sounds like fun...
Looks like its a 5 hour drive from my house, not as bad as I thought!
C'mon..you know you wanna![]()
With Ironman Coeur D'Alene the next weekend, I initially thought there was no way. Then I realized - despite being possibly the most horrible idea possible for my Ironman performance - Ashland is on the way to Coeur D'Alene
Scotty was egging me on as well:
"Dude, finals end that Friday. You can head up right after and make it there Saturday"
But I'm also graduating (if everything goes as planned), which means people are driving in from out of town to watch my commencement that weekend. I believe there's also an AFM event I have to miss because of it. Oh well, hopefully next year![]()
