Does anyone else dislike milk?

I drink raw milk. Shit is awesome!

That article is seriously flawed. Modern milk that has been pasteurized from slave-cows is disgusting. Grass-eating, roaming, fuck whenever/wherever cows make great milk (raw). Read up on it. Lactose intolerant mofos can drink it. Wonder whyyyyy?

"...Milk is not just milk. The milk of every species of mammal
is unique and specifically tailored to the requirements of
that animal. For example, cows' milk is very much richer in
protein than human milk
. Three to four times as much. It has
five to seven times the mineral content. However, it is
markedly deficient in essential fatty acids when compared to
human mothers' milk. Mothers' milk has six to ten times as
much of the essential fatty acids, especially linoleic acid.
(Incidentally, skimmed cow's milk has no linoleic acid). It
simply is not designed for humans."

Utter BS, when you are drinking raw cow's milk. It has lots of EFA's.

So you're saying you have fresh Titty milk full of linoleic acid, siting in the fridge? :wow

Just a little thought process I started with my responses to the "eggnog" thread, but does anyone else really dislike milk?
I mean, I'm slightly lactose intolerant, but even more just plain weirded out by milk than anything else.

I don't have a desire to suck on a cow's tit. Or love the liquid that comes out of it.

And yes, I eat cheese and other things that have milk in them, I just find the actual milk product to be weird and gross.

Here's what some doc at Seton had to say about it a bunch of years ago: http://www.notmilk.com/kradjian.html

That's soo funny that you should mention that. For years, I thought I was the ONLY person who disliked (White) Milk. I love flavored Milk; (Choc, Strawberry, etc), and I do not mind drinking the stuff in my cereal bowl- after I've eaten all of my Cap'n Crunch- but I never sit down and have a glass of White Milk.
:laughing

Lactose intolerance joke! Playing on the dual sense of "intolerant!"

Sustained applause!

2 gallons a week. Has to be in the fridge over night before I will drink it, so we often have 3 gallons sitting in there at once. The container can never be sat on a counter, has to be opened/poured/closed and back in the fridge before the fridge door closes.

My wife drinks skim or no fat milk. That stuff looks like soapy water. :green

I used to drink Vitamin D Chocolate whole milk when I had a couple doughnuts on Sunday mornings. I stopped because it was hard to find that milk because they replaced it with 2% chocolate milk. :green

I did kind of developed a taste for it after a few years. But one day I found some chocolate Vitamin D whole milk and couldn't wait to try it. Whole milk has so much fat in it, it's like drinking cold snot because it is so thick. :barf

I was back off the tit. :hand

it's comfort food: when we were y0ung and poor, we drank Sanalac (powdrred milk) when things were tough. The days we could afford real whole milk were living the high life. I still drink up to one gallon every other day (wife drinks 2%). I probably drink more milk than any other liquid. And it had to be cold; I never drink milk at restaurants.

I drink a lot of Soy & Almond milk, but I'll still cook and have tea with regular milk.

Crazy coincidence, I've always hated black milk.:x Meanie.:(:p

Not going to read this whole damn thread, but thought I would throw my weirdness into it. I'll eat dairy...as long as the dairy is IN something and I cant taste it. For example I'll eat cake or cookies, but I wont drink a glass of milk or eat an omelet. If butter is in a cake then fine, but I dont put butter on toast or pancakes or what have you. I hate cheese with a passion...no cheese of any kind even if its hidden in something.

That's how I am with sour cream and butter milk, which is just milk that gone bad to me. :green

I love buttermilk pancakes and biscuits, but the smell of buttermilk in a container will guaranteed make me :barf , which is exactly what it smells like.

I love sour cream flavored potato chips, but would NEVER dip a chip in sour cream and eat it, or have it as a topping or an uncooked ingredient in a prepared dish. :green
