Ducati 1199 Panigale: the wait is almost over

- 164kg dry
- 192bhp
- ABS
- traction control
- ride-by-wire,
- engine brake control
- electronically adjustable suspension
- TFT dash

“Engine Brake Control” limits back torque by working with the wet slipper clutch to limit the effects of back torque on the rear wheel. Under quick deceleration, stepper motors on the throttle bodies open, reducing the effects the engine has on corner entry. This is MotoGP tech for the street

NICE BIKE!
Now I want so see the prices for the 999 to drop so I can haz one! :thumbup

+1

BUT, are those rear lights supposed to like like exhaust tips? That would be lame.

That's what it seems like to me, like they're still somewhat channeling the signature, dual-underseat exhaust.

That's what I've been saying...

I sold my 05' 999S earlier this year for only 7K... :(

As one of Ducati's #1 customers I should have no problem scheduling a test ride of the 1199. I'm still not liking it too much though, including the sticker price. So glad I can still say I'm happy with my stable..! :cool

guh truthfully, no matter how you slice it, this bike will be wasted on the streets.

I sure as hell can't fathom buying one without at least a few of track-days to go with it.
