Entire West Coast Ride - Party in Half Moon Bay 9/7.

Have the bike selections been finalized for each rider?

Two Bimmers, one Duc, one Fat Ninja, one regular Ninja, and an Italian bitch-goddess.

Clarification:
Two Bimmers = S1000RR's , one Duc Multistrada, one Fat Ninja, one regular Ninja, and an Italian bitch-goddess Aprillia RSV4 Factory Superbike.

Detail above.

A Bimota? :laughing

We are not going there.

The two BMW's and the Ape make for an extra gas stop each day.
One day we have to top off (well they do) after just 37 miles.

Really hoping the weather is the best.. September is usually so.
Rain gear being packed none the less.

I have loved Modern Marvels since the early 2000's, particularly that episode as it speaks to my road-geeking tendencies. Years ago I spent an entire weekend exploring old Hwy 99 in the Sacramento River Canyon checking out abandoned arch bridges, gas stations, and other interesting artifacts of the old days.

Anyway, I think your trip sounds amazing on so many levels, I can't wait to see the final product and hear the stories. It's always inspiring to see folks indulging in life and all its adventures.

Thanks Jon.

Looking forward to the adventure.

Ain’t got a lot of bucket space left so this will be special.

Yo Budman and Crew,

Super jelly!
That's going to be one Epic Adventure for sure with that wild and crazy Crew.
Shiny side up, sticky side down! :thumbup

I'm on vacation that whole week. If you need ANYTHING between Crescent City and Fort Bragg, well, you have my number.
See you for lunch. :thumbup

Appreciate it guys.

Mrs Budman just installed my license plate and helped me pack. Fun to have her be excited for me and help out. The best support is from my
Life partner. :love

Just going through all my shirts to find the Barf ones was a hoot. :teeth

Hope she can make it to HMB with the kid and her hubby.

Lonny

Appreciate the offer. Hope we don’t need any help and look forward to lunch!! :Port

37 miles!? Sounds like a mid-life wrist exercise adventure. :rofl
Enjoy the ride.:ride

Wow this sounds epic!! Woohoo!! Have a great ride!! :ride

Great idea, great ride.
Have fun.
I had the same idea a few years ago, to ride all the west coast hwy but only did the north leg SF to Port Angeles and back

A west coast pub crawl, top to bottom, partying with locals,
bleary eyed morning sendoffs, huffing shots of oxygen, clearing cobwebs from foggy vistas, braced by cool salt air.
:ride for that Sandy Eggo California dream, 80* & sunny.:party
I'm stuck in Eureka, for now. :twofinger

Will see you there:thumbup

FWIW......
I live less than a mile north of there off airport blvd on the coast side of 1. Off the north end of the runway.
If anyone needs oil, change tires, wash the bike, do other general maintenance or whatever, I will open up the garage.

Also riding down 1 to Morro Bay on the 9th for an annual meet up w/ my riding friends. Up to 40 of them some years. Take over the motel and cater in a BBQ Saturday nights. Will stop in and say hi.
