Entire West Coast Ride - Party in Half Moon Bay 9/7.

:laughing

Technically yes. So entire West Coast of the continental 48.

See you in Morro Bay ob1 :thumbup

Will there be any official sand & salty tire dippage/burnouts @ the official party stops too?
Humm Co. ramp on Samoa spit

Not by us... we are saving every bit of tire for the ride. :laughing

Plus our plan is the land at the motel and walk over. Pretty much doable at every stop. No drinking and riding. :teeth

I see Forks, Washington on your itinerary.

Port Angeles to Clallam Bay on WA 112 is a Main Event ride, don't miss it while you're up there. You can turn South at Clallam Bay to return to 101 easily after riding 112.
I rented a place up in Port Angeles for the Summer in 2013, and thanked myself everyday for trailering my 916 up there. Hurricane Ridge Road is another, shorter, but "worth doing" ride.
Early AM best to avoid Winnebagos, of course.
Weather looks good for your Olympic Peninsula leg, too. Forks gets like 120 inches, a year. But not this coming weeks.
Hope to make your HMB stop.

The journey begins

In reality it began 18 months ago but shit is getting real now.

The boys dropped bikes and bags to my office this AM so MotoShippers can come grab them for the slab to Seattle.

Chill is a Viscious Mofo so he is riding.. just got a bag and the pleasure of meeting his daughter.

Bikes are staged with BARF license plate frames for pic up. Enchanter's we rolled into my Lobby because he had $$ shit on it and I needed to run home with my gear to get my cage.

Mrs. Budman provided the ride and wished all of us well on our Journey. Butch showed to for the same.

A succesful ride BBQ for the team awaits on our return. :cool

I expect the actual ride report on this will be brief. Days are full and a post or two a pic or six is all I would expect to be able to do. The whole filming aspect will keep me super busy.

A took a couple of pics of the staging. L8Brakers, bike, SLO's bike and mine are staged on the walk to my office. Enchanter has some expensive shit on it so we rolled it int the Lobby. He brought the awesome kiddo and pooch (Zora) with him so got a pic of them too.

While waiting I crossed another to do off my task list and bought ferry tix Now I sit here reeling through the "What have I not thought of" crap. :laughing

Wednesday we fly to Tacoma. Thursday we collect the chase van and do set up with the film crew and then ride to Seattle before Ferry Day... Ride day 1.

Nervously stoked.

*EDIT - L8Braker came back to help so we got Enchanter's bike staged now too. Truck due at 4PM.

Actually that route does include most of WA 112, excluding the last part that goes out to Near Bay.

It's all excruciatingly beautiful, too, which is part of the charm. Another excellent but pricey detour is the Quintalt Lodge. But your itinerary sounds pretty good already. If anyone likes oyster poor boy sandwiches , there are at least 10 places between Port Angeles and Eureka that are worth checking out. The one in South Bend, WA is excellent as is the Winchester Bay place in southern Oregon.
Plenty of State Patrollers in Oregon...BTW. I've racked up 3-4 tickets from them, even for 3mph over. Got a radar detector in your group?
Ok, i know you'll have a blast, especially between Leggett and Fort Bragg.
Hope to be in HMB!

Will any tires be injured in the making of this excitingly anticipated film?

Of course... I expect them to be dust after I return. :laughing

Bikes have arrived safely and Chill is now on the road riding up there because he can't get enough. :teeth

Moved to Sports Touring because that will be the focus moving forward.

:ride
