Totally agree, the probability of him taking power and holding it for that long seems astronomically slim from my understanding of events.
 
My parents just got back from Cuba last week. I had to work Thursday so we celebrated Thanksgiving tonight and looked through photos while drinking Cuba Libres made with real Cuban rum right around the time he supposedly passed. Kind of ironic....

They said Cuba was a very interesting trip.

Castro was not a good person, neither was Che, but they were no worse than Batista.
 
Nobody lives forever. Amazing he made it that long.

Yes, they were worse. They enslaved a whole island. Bad as Batista maybe was, people could come and go freely.

Cuba is one giant slave plantation run for the benefit of Fidel and his buddies. No one can leave. Forget any sort of rebellion. The people are essentially slaves. :rolleyes

Free medical? Yeah I want my workers healthy too. Of course they go to different hospitals than Fidel and friends.:thumbdown
