hmmmmmmm can federal LEO sign off on fix it tickets,

and how the hell do they even really check the signature, 1/2 the time its just scribble scribble badge # that is still not legible

i mean if any agency, (federal or state or both) can sign off - do they have some super master database that says this signature is valid to this badge id ####.

1/2 the time i hear my buddies with fixit tickets, get it signed off by a leo they know personally either friend or family and dont have to really "fix" their rides.

also how did your fixit only cost you $20, but took you a entire day @ court????? my fine was in the hundreds for no license plate light and no rear reflector and something else like tinted turn signals, i did not have to go to court, just signoff mail the check and stub in and that was it

i'd like an answer for this too - just had my "no front license plate" ticket signed off by SFPD because they were the ones who issued it - wasn't fun having to drive all the way up from Santa Clara just for that. The instructions are incredibly unclear though... would've been nice to know I could have had any LEO sign off.
