the "pantless" one? haha nope. I haven't been to one yet. I heard they're cluster fuks w/ random bickering/small fistfights, drunk hipsters, etc. but sounds like a good time w/ lots of riders.

Yeah, all of that is part true, and it's a blast and all fixed gear riders are part hipster wanna be. With that being said, see you at bike party. :teeth:ride:teeth

Nice.. Squaw Valley from SF? I just went to performancebike last night and bought a jersey and spandex shorts. Geared hipster ftw... I guess it's the anti-squid fixed gear thing to do. :p

so after selling my langster a couple months ago and reallly missing the fixed experience and the perfectness for around town riding(my stp uses to much energy) I picked up a leader 725tr frameset. Anyone have any recomendations for what crankset up to run and where to buy stuff online or locally?

I like the 725TR, still have mine. You can run pretty much any crankset you want. You just need to get the right bottom bracket (68mm English bottom bracket). I guess it just comes down to what is within your budget. I'd say, shop around, if you know a local shop that will hook you up, do that. Otherwise, shop online.

what spindle length are you running? and did you have to run spacers to get the sprocket and rear cog to line up?

103mm sugino , spacers are easy, and are trial and error (you have to check yourself to see if your chainline is okay)

Nice Bridgestone... where's your Moto?

That is badass~! haha

Wow a street fixed gear with a brake. At least there is one smart one in the bunch.

I have brakes on my non-track fixed gear (for legality). Davis hardly necessitates brakes on a fg. :ride
