The not so funny thing about this photo is that there are people that take it seriously. IMHO, those people need to be feared and educated. The funny part is the exageration and the parody.

i agree....just like the gas pump picture above....i bet that dude wasn't happy about it....sure, i know there's a difference between a $xxx gas pump, and 4000+ human lives....but there was all this "al Queda" humor going around....and people here laugh, merely cause it's "not their country" and it's the "other side of the world" .....big deal right?

If you are to ask can I find humor in a Brutal and Oppressive Govt. (the Taliban) getting their just deserve. Then yes I can. Would I find funny any humor poked at the victims killed at the wedding ceremony in Afghanistan (the ones firing in the air who were them mistakenly bombed)? No, no I would not. Everything should be taken in context. The death of 3,000+ of my fellow citizens at the hands of a few hateful and ignorant men is not funny at all.

i mean, if you wanna be all P.C. about it, there's really no such thing as humor. not at all. opus couldn't have said it better...humor is the misfortune of others...period.

if you wanna be something other than just an "animal," and have your own thoughts and feelings, then yes, there is such a thing as humor.

what's the difference between an "oppressive government" and the people who lived next door...all of whom caught a swift and untimely death?

Ahh.. but the mods rarely do the right thing.. they are too busy making sure one doesn't use the work "Fucktard" too often to give a flying fuck about something like National Pride and Honoring the Hero's of 9/11.

Funny anyone (Frankenstien... about 10 times) even has to make mention of this to our moderating friends... perhaps deep down they enjoy this in some siick way... afterall, the thread and pics are still up after countless requests?

I hold you as responsible as Com3 for letting this continue. Funny how you delete a "WhitePower" thread by JoshH, but somehow still think this pic belongs on our boards.

PS: if you can't tell, I find this picture extremely distrubing, having friends in downtown NYC when this happened. So this is not a cry for warning points... it is a true statement of fact.
