I think that's because of the 3 ball and stats around effeceincy.
You can't trade 2's for 3's and win nor can you miss 2s and have the opposing team make 3s which is what the Warriors do.
I also think teams know the percentages now soon as it's says below 8% chance of coming back, they mentally shut it down and conserve for the next game.

The answer is no.. Competition is inherently pointless if there's no actual competition. Watching a 28 year old ripped dude beat the shit out of a 10 year old kid is pointless. It is the struggle that makes it great. If everything is a blowout, it's just... ugh. Marquez all over again.

See, when you root for Philly teams since forever, you never think they will actually win. The level of stress involved when the game is competitive is just too much. When I actually care about the outcome of a game, I don't want it to be close!
I know what you are saying though. A hard fought win against a worthy feels better I know. When I watch teams I'm not emotionally invested in, I wanna see a good game.

At least when your team is getting curb stomped you can write it off early and go do something else instead of agonizing about it. Ya know, silver lining and all.

Well, last night they would have missed the deep bench continuing to score. Damn, I WANT to see JaVale et al play more.
No idea what happens tomorrow. My thought is a close game (for once), with GSW probably prevailing. Just don't see another blowout, and I think the Rockets will "play harder" (former coach Kevin McHale's trademarked "gameplan" during timeouts).
