CP likely out. Sigh.
Oh well, game 7, at home, hope for the best.
Yeah I thought of you last night watching the game. Who the heck knows what happens next.... I was sure Rockets were going to win during the first half of game, then the team I really love made a celebrity appearance in the second half. I cannot figure out how they could play such crappy defense in first half and let all those threes fly. And Harden looked extremely energetic in that first half, not listless like previous game. He was up for it, to be sure.
Here's to a good game tomorrow. If the Rockets win, they deserve it. If the Dubs win, it will be because they are talent-laden and woke up.
Thanks BA, let's hope for a GREAT game 7 tomorrow. Whatever happens, I've really enjoyed the series and discussion.
I don't think I'm just a pessimist, but watching the 1st half last night, I was NOT confident at all. That 10-pt halftime lead might as well have been zero. I only somewhat jokingly said the Rockets needed a 35-point lead, in order for me to feel the slightest bit of relief.
Not sure if 2nd half was fatigue, shots not falling (or, regression to mean, or what).
CP3 updated to game time decision from the nba pregame show?
I think its just mind games now, hes going to play, this is the biggest game of his life.

Something I have been mentally chewing on all year is the concept of finding a player(s) who has different "shot karma" than our big three. Because on a crappy shooting night, I wish they had someone who was on a different page so to speak. There have been times this year when all three just shut down, every ball missed the iron or spun around and flew back out. It was eerie. Durant was usually sort of different at at times, but Klay and Steph sometimes are united in failure, or success.
Yay, we get to see the Cavs lose in another finals....
God...dont really want to see Dubs/Cavs part IV.

That was already likely when Gordon Hayward went down, then finalized when Kyrie went down.
At least the Celtics didn’t choke. Like the Raptors, they never had a chance to begin with.
