Golden State Warriors 2017-2018

CP likely out. Sigh.

Oh well, game 7, at home, hope for the best.

Yeah I thought of you last night watching the game. Who the heck knows what happens next.... I was sure Rockets were going to win during the first half of game, then the team I really love made a celebrity appearance in the second half. I cannot figure out how they could play such crappy defense in first half and let all those threes fly. And Harden looked extremely energetic in that first half, not listless like previous game. He was up for it, to be sure.

Here's to a good game tomorrow. If the Rockets win, they deserve it. If the Dubs win, it will be because they are talent-laden and woke up.

Thanks BA, let's hope for a GREAT game 7 tomorrow. Whatever happens, I've really enjoyed the series and discussion.

I don't think I'm just a pessimist, but watching the 1st half last night, I was NOT confident at all. That 10-pt halftime lead might as well have been zero. I only somewhat jokingly said the Rockets needed a 35-point lead, in order for me to feel the slightest bit of relief.

Not sure if 2nd half was fatigue, shots not falling (or, regression to mean, or what).

Something I have been mentally chewing on all year is the concept of finding a player(s) who has different "shot karma" than our big three. Because on a crappy shooting night, I wish they had someone who was on a different page so to speak. There have been times this year when all three just shut down, every ball missed the iron or spun around and flew back out. It was eerie. Durant was usually sort of different at at times, but Klay and Steph sometimes are united in failure, or success.

I could say that they were too hasty in first half and the shots weren;t quite making it. That was a post-game observation about Steph, in his own words. But sometimes they were wide open, there was no reason for them to not make it, when, in the second half they did. Their offense is like a weather system. The clouds roll in and they roll out. It brightens up and suddenly things are clicking. I haven't closely watched other teams to be able to compare, but for that first half, the Rockets had the sun shining bright and everything was hitting. And they definitely were harassing the usual Dubs scorers in that first half. I believe there was the very rare shot clock expiration(s) on the Dubs. That is very unusual. Something usually happens.

CP3 updated to game time decision from the nba pregame show?

I think its just mind games now, hes going to play, this is the biggest game of his life.

Well, if he's going to play with an inflamed hamstring, it might the biggest and last game of his life.

If CP is playing mind games then this reminds me of how LeBron got “hurt” in game 6, lying on the ground in apparent pain for several minutes, then immediately driving to the basket to finish up his monster game.

If CP plays, the Warriors should be worried.

Haha, let me start by saying...what a luxury. GSW Big 3 not playing well, who will step up? Talk about 1st world problems...

But yeah, agree about Thompson and Curry. Durant though this playoff...I know criticized for ISO, but he's so EFFICIENT doing it. It may not be pretty, may have unmeasurable detriment on getting other players going, but it's hard for me to criticize Durant in any way, this playoff.

I agree with others, think CP likely to play tomorrow. Problem is, 70% CP can't do much except be a decoy...

Yay, we get to see the Cavs lose in another finals....

That was already likely when Gordon Hayward went down, then finalized when Kyrie went down.

At least the Celtics didn’t choke. Like the Raptors, they never had a chance to begin with.

God...dont really want to see Dubs/Cavs part IV.

I know the Raptors replaced Casey, but how bad do they have to feel? Get swept? Boston - 2 stars goes 7?

Abysmal shooting in the first half by both teams... Whatever - I'll take it.

Let's go Houston!

^^ Option 1 (Houston) is lose in 6, option 2 (Dubs) lose in 5
