Golden State Warriors 2017-2018

If the game came down to four points a the end, I can see being upset.

It’s weird being on the other side of the “refs are against us” argument.

Cavs were called for fewer fouls which led to fewer turnovers and more free throws awarded.

Kestrel, I may have missed it earlier in the thread, but please explain how JR Smith inadvertently taking out Klay’s legs is any different than Draymond inadvertently poking Lebron’s eye. The fact that non-Warriors fans don’t like Draymond is not a valid argument.

Thompson isn't even LOOKING at the ball. No call.

He doesn't get "space to land", he's not shooting. Space to land is literally only jumping straight up and down so players don't get undercut.

JVG and Jackson are horribly anti-Warriors announcers, too. Jax is probably still pissed that he has to keep calling NBA Finals with the team he got fired from.

I realized tonight that I could watch the game on tv and saw the second half!

What circus is missing 3 talkative clowns and who lets them call a game?!!

Cant stand to listen to Jackson

Less egregious? More like dirty bullshit basketball, typical Draymond style. Half ass block the shot, and swipe your other hand across the player's face. Look at the strained muscles in his left arm - it's intentional as fuck. And now Lebron looks like a god damned zombie, and reportedly still has blurry vision out of that eye.

I love that Klay Thompson 3 pointer where his foot was blatantly across the line in the 1st Quarter. TV replay before commercial showed it..

Was it ever reviewed or changed? Nope.

Yup, less egregious. In real time it looks like he puts his hand out in a legit defensive motion. You don't think if the bigwigs thought there was any malice in that play it wouldn't have been reviewed and upgraded? That would create more drama for an otherwise lopsidedly matched series.

On the other hand, The King throwing a rookie with the gall to guard him to the court is blatant and egregious.

The eye did look even worse tonight

Warriors win game 3 and Lebron will shut it down game 4. He’ll over pass. He won’t want to come back to Oakland and just lose.

I suspect Korver starts in place of jr Smith. Better shooter but worse denfende. Cavs need offense.

The Javale starting I like. He’s athletic. Allows for the high pick n roll with curry. If the defend wrong it a lob or open 3.

Couldn’t agree more.

I especially hate Van Gundy. Fucking guy just talks just to hear his own voice sometimes. Reminds me of Bill Walton, another annoying announcer. Van gundy ent off on some thing tonight about he went to college with so and so and some other fucker he knows is sitting courtside. Like what the hell does any of that have to do in the slightest bit with the game in front of him?

I suppose this is better than the TNT show with the three mumble mouth ex players and the guy with bow tie.

Grinding your fingers into somebody's face is not legit defense - it's just dirty, which is how Draymond plays the game. I mean, the NBA even had to invent a 'kicking in the balls' rule BECAUSE of him. The only reason Green is relevant is because he's surrounded by three other elite players. Otherwise, he's just an above average NBA player with the mental fortitude of a 12 year old boy.

The dude is a joke. On any other team, he'd get laughed at (in a bad way) for his behavior. But because he's with GSW, he instead gets San Fran tech bro fellatio.

Defensive Player of the Year is just an above average player? :rofl

Let the saltiness flow...

It's his narrative. All those retired pro pundits on the panel post-games, the people who voted, his college coach, they are just misguided. They don't know what he knows. The TRUTH. How did that guy ever get in the NBA anyway? It's a mystery.

At any rate, enjoyed the somewhat less controversial play. Once again, the Cavs played better than "experts" predicted. I think Wednesday will be pretty damn lively.

Hey, is JR Smith coming back next year to Cavs? Contract details? I mean, he is a candidate for MVP, based on tonight's game...

You do know on top of defensive player of the year last season, he’s touted by many in the league as one of the smartest players. He leads the warriors in assists and steals and is a 4. He’s like magic minus the scoring and better on defense. You’ll see how many teams want him ‘if’ he ever becomes a unrestricted free agent. Aside from Lebron, what other player can and is often expcted to guard all 5 players in a game? Kawhi can’t even gaurs centers like Draymond does.

He’s the modern day Rodman but actually runs the warriors offense. They way you feel about his antics non-Lebron fans feel the same way about his. 6-8 275lb all muscle and flops and embellishes contact like he does?

What’s at the root of the anti warriors sentiment including Draymond, is their quick rise to elite status and their staying power. That’s why cp3, Lebron, Westbrook hate curry and the warriors. Curry wasn’t supposed to be this good. Klay wasn’t. Draymond certainly wasn’t. The cap wasn’t supposed to go up. KD wasn’t supposed to leave. Iggy wasn’t supposed to be a good fit. Kerr passed on the Knicks too.

It all happened. Sorry not sorry.

On just about any other team he'd be The Guy. If his play is so dirty, don't you think he would have been "handled" by now? If not by the league, who clearly are watching his every move, wouldn't some other team's enforcer have taken him out by now? I mean, if everyone outside Dub Nation knows he's just a cheap 2-bit goon not worthy of his rings...
