Now Lakers sign Lance Stephenson?? Unreal. Can the season start already?? Lance and Lebron on same team is nba gold.

I wanted warriors to go after lance.
 
Pretty clear Lebron doesn't care about championships anymore, and he doesn't really have to. His resume is outstanding.. might as well chill out in LA and ball for fun

Spent the last two days of back breaking labor to get my brother moved to TN... Finished it all up last night with the news of Lebron to LA. That's OK with me - I'll cheer for them. After CLE won in 2016, it's a bit odd, but my loyalty is probably more to him at this point than the Cavs organization.

Apparently Lance Stephenson announced this morning that he's also playing with the Lakers. :laughing Silly season.

Does this mean you're OK with the Celtics having a clear path to the finals? Maybe Philly will put up some resistance if they land Kawhi. And the Raptors...LOL no...Celtics will own the East.

I think Boston will rule the roost in the East, and Philly will be the only team who puts up a challenge. It does suck that Boston will emerge, though. Talk about asshole fans...

But honestly, I just can't believe that he's going to be on the same team as Lance.

Are there gonna be cupcakes t-shirts and stuff when LeBron comes to play in Cleveland? I mean, I am waiting for all the jersey-burning stories and such. So far, nothin. But I bet sports talk radio was interesting this morning there.
 
No Rondo to the Lakers on a 1 year deal. Lakers also renounced rights to Julius Randle.

Lakers making moves. Be hilarious if Lonzo gets traded and Lavar looses it.

He gave them a championship. I'm sure some will complain he's leaving, but I'd imagine most are eternally thankful. When the Cavs played Boston for the first time this year, Kyrie got a huge, huge applause when they announced his name. I'd imagine that Lebron will get that and more.

Rumor has it that Lebron texted Durant and tried to get him to go to LA with him. KD obviously picked up another 1+1 deal with GSW, but it'll be interesting to see what he does a year from now.

Yeah, those guys are all on different pages that most sports fans, including me, are clueless about. the problem with that situation is that LeBron is fairly humorless and KD already had his fill with Play Mad Westbrook.

But we know that humans tire of everything, including success, so who knows what teams might group up in the future.

Kinda sad to see Javale go there but its obvious his minutes are always going to be limited here.
 
Kerr probably told both Zaza and Javale that they wouldn't be getting much in the way of minutes next season.

If Looney stays, along with Jordan Bell that's a good portion of the minutes for the 5, plus Damian Jones who is going to be brought up from Santa Cruz for next year and is an athletic freak.

The 1+1 benefits the Dubs this year and KD next year. After this season GSW will have Durant's bird rights AND the cap goes up so he can get a massive 5 year contract.

This year the salary he gave up signing a 1+1 instead of a 2+1 is roughly equivalent to the MLE, about 5-6M, meaning KD gave up money this season in order to 1) save GSW enough to sign another player with the MLE, and 2) qualify for a fuckton of money on a deal next year.

Durant has constantly given up max salary in order to keep winning rings though. I don't see any reason why he won't stay with GSW next year.
