Time lapse of Saturday's ride. Part 2 (Mammoth to June Lake Loop to Whoa Nellie) is missing - still looking for the memory card.

Day 3, moar time lapse. The ride home via 120 until the camera battery died; which is fine because you're just missing the really boring part of the ride.

Like any true BARF event this one begins in the Starbucks parking lot.

Thanks to Happy Hornet, we met up with Louemc in Copperopolis for a bit of goat trail riding and a run up Ebbett's Pass.

We got rained on, on and off but mostly on, from the BBQ place in Walker to Hawthorne. Of course, I hadn't brought my raingear for a trip to the desert...:laughing

Next day, I headed out for a dual-sport trip to Bodie. Hwy 167 looking towards the Sierra:

I stopped by an old miner's cabin off Cottonwood Canyon Road and found this handsome fella, who had just killed a ground squirrel. Sorry for interrupting your lunch, pal.

Nemo!!! Great pictures!!
Loved hearing about the rattlesnake and squirrel dual.

Poked around on the dirt roads near Mono Lake, and found a hot spring that has been turned into a pond for waterfowl, and an austere little cemetery.

Now we're talkin'
100_5009.jpg

On the way back, I ran into machete, Karbon, Hondagrl, SVbeesgal, veefereefer, et al.

100_5010.jpg

Machete was set to do some shootin'. America, fuck yeah!

After Termagant joined us and we had a hot afternoon poolside and a night of mild debauchery, it was time to head out again. The intrepid Happy Hornet in her hot-weather gear...

:boobies

Termagant and I took an extra day--we rode back out to Bodie so she could see it, then camped near Bridgeport and soaked in a hot spring, and finally finished the trip with a barefoot wander, a swim, and a picnic in Tuolomne Meadows. Good stuff. Can't wait for the next rally, and next year!

My goal for next year is to make it over the 40 miles of dirt that is Lucky Boy Pass and the road south from Masonic to Bodie.

Absolutely Awesome camera work :thumbup And...just to let Ya all know..I washed and waxed the rims and had new tires put on yesterday :laughing
